OUTLINE
The film will be centred around two
characters that participate in a game
like 'Bloody Mary'. Then they are
hunted by the spirit and when one of
the friends goes into trance from the
spirit, the other must help the
entranced, however they will struggle
to cope with the pressure. The film
will go into deep dive of the two
characters relationship and explore it
and the characters struggles.

FILM SYNOPSIS
When a dark spirit is released, two
friend's lives are twisted upside down,
while one fights for survival, and one
struggles to cope with the pressure

CHARACTERS:
Akuma Mukuro (The Dark Spirit, who will
attack anyone who participated in the game
and won't stop till they are gone. The name
for the spirit comes from two Japanese
names that mean devil and corpse)
Ben Chaos (the one who unleashed the
dark spirit originally in the past)
Greg Healy (cold open kill)
Oliver Evergreen (MC, who is in the Dark
Spirit's hold)
Finn Deciduous (MC who is struggling to
cope)
Anita Maxwin (background extra)

SOCIAL CONTEXT
Peer Pressure will be the main
social context of my film. Peer
pressure is a topic that's
talked about lot buts it’s never
fully explored on how it can
affect people. How peer pressure
will be shown in my film is from
how the dark spirit gets
unleashed which is from a game
like 'bloody mary' but for my
dark spirit. The game in the
film represents things that
people get peer pressured to do
all the time. The film will go
into a deep dive of the
mentality of someone who does
peer pressuring and gets peer
pressured, exploring both sides
of the coin.
WHY SHOULD MY
PRODUCTION BE MADE

I think my production should

be made to show that horror
can still be unique and
interesting while still
representing common issues,
such as peer pressure.

Scream fest will be the

competition I align my films
guidelines to, for example to
apply to the competition the
film needs to be between 26-35
minutes. Scream fest is an LA
based film festival, that
anyone can enter such as
award-winning film directors
to students, however students
are separately rated due to
budgets.
TARGET AUDIENCE

My target audience will be

16-25 as these are the
average ages of a horror film
audience. As well as being
that the target audience for
my competition is 18 to 30.
My production will be
promoted on apps like
Instagram, tiktok and
Facebook which statistically
more dominated by people the
age of 18 to 25 and 25 to 35
