A TRAINING DESIGN FOR THE PARTICIPATION OF BALINGASAG

NORTH/SOUTH DISTRICT TO THE CONGRESSIONAL MEET ON
SEPTEMBER 17-18, 2018 AT MEDINA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, MEDINA,
MISAMIS ORIENTAL

I - RATIONALE:

To Promote Physical Education (P.E.) and sports as an integral part of the

Basic Education for holistic development of the youth to become responsible and
globally competitive. Inculcate the spirit of discipline, teamwork, excellence, fair play,
solidarity, sportsmanship, and other values inherent in sports, Promote and achieve peace
by means of sports.

II – OBJECTIVES:

1. To select students athletes to compose the different teams to represent

Congressional delegation to the 2018 Palarong Panlalawigan.
2. To develop the true spirit of sportsmanship among students athletes.
3. To foster camaraderie among students athletes and among
teachers and administrators.

III – Particulars are as follows:

A. Qualification of Athletes:
- Bonifide Secondary Students
- Physically and mentally fit
- Selected as best athletes during the Municipal Meet
- Must be at least 17 years old and below (Born 2001)

B. Participation: Allocation
1. Athletes - 251
2. Coaches & Officiating Officials - 144

V- Budgetary Requirements:

There will be a Two day Congressional Meet on September 17-18,

2018 at Medina National High School, Medina, Misamis Oriental.

A. UNIFORMS ( Shirts/Pans)
1. Athletes P 480 x 251 = P 120,480.00
2. Officials/Coaches P 550 x 144 = P 79,200.00
TOTAL 395 =P 199,680.00
 C. CONTINGENCY: =P 320.00

TOTAL 200,000.00

The amount allotted for Uniforms of the said activities in the amount of
ONE HUNDRED NINETY NINE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY PESOS
(P 199,680.00) shall be charged to the Municipal Meet/Unit Meet allocation both North
& South District of the Local School Board Fund (LSB).

The amount allotted for Uniforms and Meals of the said activities in the amount
ONE HUNDRED NINETY NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FIFTY PESOS
(P 199,950.00) shall be charged to the Municipal Meet/Unit Meet allocation both North
