2. Research: Do the research and find the materials you need from websites and
books. Digest and organize the materials you have found.
3. Outline: Submit an outline by 12/5. You might need to discuss with the
teacher about your outline.
4. PPT: Submit the first draft of your PowerPoint on eeclass 作業 by 12/12. Bring
the hardcopy of that to class. Make sure you list at least 3 references on the
last slide on your PPT.
5. Revision: Revise your PPT based on the feedback given by the teacher.
6. Time control: You have 6-8 minutes for this presentation. To ensure effective
time control, do rehearsals several times to get a better sense of how much
time you might have to spend for each part.
7. Preparation: To kill the possible nervousness, rehearse several times with your
group members until you know very well when to say what.
8. Punctuality: Come early to class on your presentation date and set up
everything you need. Lateness of any of the presenters will seriously influence
your grade.
9. Delivery: You are supposed to talk to the audience naturally with an outline
(PPT) instead of reading a script when doing your presentation. There is no cell
phone in your hand when you give the presentation. Pay attention to your eye
contact, body language and volume when speaking.
10. Visual aids: You are required to use PPT for this presentation. Lead the class to
explore your topic with your clear and vivid descriptions/ expressions and the
visual aids you’ve prepared. Make sure you know how to use visual aids
effectively and properly. Don’t put everything you are going to say on the
slides.
11. Team work: Remember that you are working with a team but not individually
so all the members are expected to contribute their best in the group project
and show your team spirit whatever you do. Every member needs to have an
equal share of responsibility and to talk for 1.5-2 minutes in the presentation.
12. Hard copy: Make sure you bring a hard copy of your PPT slides for the teacher
to mark the comments. (There will be a deduction of 10 points if you fail to
submit the hard copy on your presentation day. MUST!!!)
13. Submit the video and the final version of your PowerPoint on google drive
after your presentation.
