the courses of study or area(s) of personal interest to which the topic relates
The study of the role of religion in science, more specifically, the influence of Christian beliefs in science.
Currently, it is the stage of my life where I am doing the GCSE syllabus of numerous subjects which includes 3
sciences. This can get quite tiresome but learning more about the background of scientific theories that relate to
what I am learning currently and which I find quite fascinating yet unique, will hopefully make it more interesting
for me to learn about, keep me involved in science and gives me a different perspective on religion and science. I
also want to investigate more about the relationship between religion and science i.e. whether there are any
conflicts or arguments created by the expansion of both aspects: Religion - Christianity specifically in this case -
and science.
my intended product
To research and learn about my chosen title through online articles, books, videos and experts in this field,
whether they may be in person (i.e. Science teachers or Christian priests with the knowledge of this topic) or
experts that have written books and/or arcticles about it. In addition to this, I intend to write a 2,000 word essay
about the influence of Christianity and religion over science and their theories. Lastly, I hope to learn more about
the background of some scientific theories related to relgion, keeping me interested in the subject and expand my
comprehension of this topic and science subject in different ways which I was not aware of before, hopefully
increasing my success as well.

Supervisor’s comments
Indicate the relation to, and My supervisor gave positive feedback for my main course of study or
development/extension outside of, the interest for the title I chose - in other words, they said it was sufficiently
main course(s) of study or interest developed and extended beyond the course of study.
Comment on the suitability of the My supervisor said that my propsed initial sources were of very good
proposed initial sources and research quality, quantity and breadth so my research base is broad as I have a
base variety of sources that I can use.
Confirm that the project is feasible in the My project was said to be a good and very intersting one by my
proposed timescale and/or indicate any supervisor. The only concern was if the project wasn't very feasible
potential difficulties that may prevent the because it was a huge topic to study about. They suggested I required
candidate from meeting the assessment to narrow the title down, include a timescale with it and make the title
objectives into an actual question that I will study about.
Indicate the expected format of the project product that will be submitted for assessment
