Introduction
HEREC K Hp100/200: System is designed for the recovery, high pressure storage and the reuse of helium
used for the leak detection. In the event that helium levels begin to lower, the HEREC K HP will
automatically provide make-up helium to the desired working pressure. The system is composed by two
stages: low pressure and high pressure.
The system has been design for large production lines which can work also with high helium pressure. The
system can manage easily also multiple helium testing stations.

Technical features
Embedded control system
PC board GALILEO TP SGP32 V2 with microprocessor RISC 32 bit Freescale ColdFire® 5372L

User interface
 Infrared color touch screen LCD 15” (1024X768) high brightness
 Designed for industrial environment with extreme temperatures and high humidity.
 Durable, dirt-resistant and very responsive.
 The infrared touch screen can be operated with wet fingers or dirty gloves. No physical contacts
are required to operate.
 Highly durable.
The infrared technology holds a much higher resistance against electrostatic and magnetic noise

Low pressure line

The HEREC K Hp100/200 has a low pressure line which works under vacuum from 0 to 1 bar abs to
guarantee a faster and higher efficient recovery. This line is composed by a tank (S1) under vacuum and a
vacuum pump which transfer the helium to a second stage tank (S2).

High pressure line

The compression stage, composed by the compressor (MC1/MC2), allows high pressure helium storage
into tank (S3). The high pressure line can work at a Pmax up to 100 barg and it’s protected by a safety valve
calibrated at 110 barg. From the S3 tank/s the helium can be delivered to the factory distribution network
or to the leak test equipment directly.
The system is provide with a pressure switch (PR1) which turns off the power supply to the electronic
control system and to the compressors when the pressure is over the adjustable trip point.

Helium concentration measurement line

The system is provided with an automatic analysis system which controls the helium concentration into the
tanks, so allowing the unit to keep the purity of the delivered helium at the desired value and to give
alarms in case of possible anomalies.
