Some of the key responsibilities and achievements during his tenure include:
 Responsible to establish and implement the Quality Management System as per ISO 9001:2000.
 Organize Management Review Meeting at stipulated intervals.
 Liaison with external agencies for matters related to quality system, organize internal quality
audit, maintenance of quality management system and training as required.
 Overall development, performance, and maintenance of the organization are manufacturing
activities to obtain the maximum efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the organization.
 Impart training and implement core tools i.e. APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA
 Implement the TQM tools i.e. 5’s, Kaizen, TPM, Poke Yoke, Quality Circles, Data Analysis.
 Ensuring the quality system at supplier end with the co-ordination of purchase dep’t.
 To do product and process validation of special process i.e. Projection Welding, Powder Coating,
Moulding, Zinc plating etc.
 To monitor Daily / Weekly / Monthly production schedule.
 To prepare preventive maintenance schedule for critical / non-critical machines in the
consultation with maintenance dep’t.
 To maintain an optimum level of finished / semi-finished goods stock in plant & in transit.
 To ensure CAPA / training effectiveness on quality system throughout the company.
 To identify adequate resources required for implementing quality system and addressing
customer needs in internal functions in addressing ISO 9001:2000 requirements.
 To initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities to the product, process and
quality system.
 To control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product, until the
deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
 To manage the inventory at all level i.e. Incoming, in process, Finished and consumables.
 To Competency Mapping and multi-skilling at all levels.
