Cherry Beedle there's been lots to celebrate. We launched our Apple Rewards,
Parent Engagement Champion celebrating student success and we finish the term with Easter

Ensure your child has excellent attendance and attends school
on time every day.
Let school know if you complete any TEAM 50/200 activities
outside of school.
Talk with your child about opportunities there are in school to

PRE LOVED UNIFORM SHOPS

Our pre loved uniform shops have been a huge success this term with
supporting parents with the 'cost of living crisis'. If you would like to use the
uniform shops, please contact your child's school

If your child has outgrown a school uniform item and it is still in reasonable
condition, we would be very grateful if you could donate it to us. We ask that
clothes are washed and ready to share with another parent.
The items we need donations of include:
School trousers & skirts ​
T-shirts & shirts​ with the school logo
School jumpers, cardigans & fleeces ​
Thick winter coats ​& sensible school shoes

We love it when parents can join in. CEO CHALLENGE: SPRING '23
We had a cracking day at Whaley
Thorns when we were able to
welcome parents to join in the
curriculum led Easter egg hunt and
Great British Bake Off. The events
really made the most of the
children's developing enterprise
skills.
At Stubbin Wood School, parents were Invited to join in with an afternoon
of Easter fun. They were lucky to have a superb performance of Coldplay's
'A Sky Full of Stars' from the signing choir. It's fair to say that this was an
eggcelent event and they eggcelled at the challenge, filling the room with
smiles!

FOOD PANTRIES: SUPPORTING COST OF LIVING

Our food pantries have been well
received and are being well utilised
by parents in all of our schools.
We have been very fortunate to
receive contributions from families,
and organisations and their
generosity has exceeded all of our
expectations. We cannot thank
those who have donated enough as
we continue to support families
during these challenging times.

food pantry, please contact the
school office of your child's school,
either in phone or in person. We
are here to help.
Congratulations to Olympia from
Whaley Thorns Primary School who
won this term's CEO Challenge to
design an energy saving poster.
SUPPORTING ONLINE SAFETY
We believe that going online should
be a positive experience for all
children.
But the internet can be a difficult
place for them to navigate. It can be
hard to know the real from the fake,
how to avoid seeing negative
content, or what to do if a mistake is
made.

COFFEE MORNINGS & DROP IN SESSIONS
Coffee mornings continue to be a hit with parents and we've seen
an increase in parents attending over this term.

They're a great opportunity to come and meet other parents,

discuss any concerns you have about your child and speak to staff
about any support you might need.

Jemma Slater, Trust Phonics Lead, will be leading our work as a

Trust to make sure that we're working closely with parents and
providing the best support possible.

Jemma is a teacher at Model Village Primary school and currently

works across all schools supporting children with their phonics.

Jemma is passionate about parental engagement and as a parent of

two children herself, she is keen to work with parents across the
trust.
