Title: Setting up requested equipment

Performance Objective: Given that the guest requests an extra bed/roll away
bed, you should be able to set it up in accordance
with the guest’s request.

Supplies/Materials : None

Equipment : Beds & Cots

Steps/Procedure:

1. Make sure that bed is clean and in good working condition. Prepare
required items such as: bed sheets, pillow with pillow case, duvet &
duvet cover, and mattress protector. Be careful in transferring it to the
guest room because it might bite and injured your fingers.

2. Put the bed on a free space wherein guest can still move freely and
comfortably.

3. The procedure for making an extra bed is similar to that of standard bed
making.

4. Place the blanket and tuck it and the top sheets tightly at the foot and
then on both sides of the bed.

5. Bed sheets may be larger than the extra bed mattress and may require
special care when tucking on all sides to give a smooth appearance.
