NATURAL RESOURCE DESCRIPTION

ROCKS
Rocks can be considered a natural
resource as they are part of the earth's
crust and provide various uses for
humans. Rocks are used in the
construction industry. Also, minerals
found in rocks are essential in
manufacturing products.

SOIL
Soil is an important natural resource as it
serves as a medium for plant growth. It
provides habitat for organisms such as
microbes and higher animals. Man also
uses soil for various other purposes, such
as making bricks, pottery, and porcelain.
Soil is the outermost part of the earth’s
crust on which we live, work, and grow
food crops.

TREES
Trees provide hardwood products such
as lumber for building construction and
furniture. They also help clean the air that
we breathe. Trees provide shelter for
animals and shade for plants. Aside from
that, trees filter our water, even slow
storm sure and flooding.

SOLAR ENERGY
Solar energy is a natural resource
provided by the sun. It is one of the most
important sources of energy for life forms.
Solar energy is a renewable resource that
can be converted and used as an
alternative to fossil fuels. It can also be
used to produce electricity.

ANIMALS
Animals provide meat products that we
eat. Some of them produce milk that we
drink. Their fur and skin are used to make
clothing items, which is also one of
humans' necessities.
WATER
Water is the most abundant natural
resource, and all life on Earth depends on
it. Water is used for drinking, cleaning,
cooking, and irrigation. Also, the energy
harnessed from moving water can be
used to create electricity.
