Manufacturing process

India has abundant Areca Palm Trees. These Areca Palm trees are cultivated for "Betel Nuts" which is chewed
and is used in making Pan. Each Areca Tree sheds 10 to 15 leaves every year. These Leaf Sheaths which
naturally fall from the trees are collected from the Areca Farms and transported by truck to our factory. These
dry Areca Leaf Sheaths are soaked in water and thoroughly cleaned using brushes to eliminate the sand. The
leaves are so arranged as to drain the water. These leaves are then pressed in the moulds of various sizes and
attractive designs according to the demand-requirements. These plates are then packed as per customer
requirements and kept safely. These packed plates can be used confidently even after six to 12 months.

cultivation of Areca palm tree. Organization has 30 members who are already working for the other projects
and their revenue is around 15.00 lakhs per annum. Therefore project seems to be viable. Organization has
recruited staff of 3 trained members for this project that is sufficient for the proper working of this proposal.
As the recruited staff is already trained. Therefore in future they will treated as a master trainer for the future
staff trainer.

Financial Feasibility:

Total Fixed Capital-Rs.3.61 lakh

Technical Feasibility:

As there will be no shortage of raw material as it is easily available from the owner of this project. Therefore
from this point it is viable. Machine for processing of Palm tree sheaths are easily available. Therefore from
