ETHICS
• derived from the Greek word “ethos” meaning
characteristic way of acting and “ethike” or doctrine of
morality
• Now, human conduct implies the free and deliberate use
of the will
• Ethics is suited to designate the science of human conduct
• Ethics in define as the “practical and philosophical science
of the morality of human acts or human conduct” (Ignacio,
1985)

and laws that are applied in daily living
• Ethics as philosophical science means it is not technical
course or laboratory

• to show to the learners that acting in accordance with his rational and
moral nature could lead them to their supernatural destiny - God
• to develop in the students a morally upright living
• to let the students realize that people cannot live together harmoniously
in society without the ethical norms and laws applied or followed
