Meta Thrashers / Meta Bots

The overall idea of the project is a crypto-based NFT game where users(pilots) can fight
their different robots on the chain winning other users' robots or currency to upgrade
their own robots with.

The idea is to have 2 different sets of 10k NFTs: Pilots & Robots.

The scene/theme is grungy futuristic street kids. Imagine cyberpunk meets skating.
I’m very open to suggestions and ideas for building this world.

Different terminology for the initial profile based NFT set:

Thrashers
Operators
Pilots

Different terminology for the upgradeable robot-based NFT set:

Bashers
MetaBots

Different terminology for the world:

Metropolis
Foundry

My vision for the project is to create a super retro-futuristic-looking mecha of street

punks battling it out with patched-up robots. I want the vibe to really feel like all the best
parts of a really fun and grungey digital world.
Phase 1

The thrashers/pilots/operators. The first piece that needs to be made is a set of

right-facing profile photo images. At the very least 6 layers of composable pieces would
need to be made with 6 items in each to generate a 10k collection. The more the better
though.

Old Art from bubbltek that really fits the vibe of the world I’m trying to create:

Potential metabot skin? V

Ideas for the layers: Body, Hair, Clothing, Weapon?, tats/scars/bandages?, glasses,
Hats, Mouths, Gender?, etc (honestly would need help from artist to figure out what they
feel works best with their style of art.

If you look at most of the profile photos in the example folder you’re going to realize
they’re all really bland. It’s partly because generative art is kind of hard. Being able to
make layers that work across a wide amount of base characters can be challenging.

But also many of them honestly just don’t have good artists working on the project or
ones whose styles don’t get to reflect the quality of work when generated.

One idea I had is to potentially do 3-6 different base characters. Each one needs only a
few layers of things to generate (maybe some can even share layers).

Then we generate art for every single base character and combine them all into one
collection.

This would make the art feel much more unique than today’s standard of just adding a
blunt to an animal.

I also think it would be less work for the artist since he can have more fun with a few
different character designs instead of just forcing his art to work with one base.

Phase 2
The Bashers/MetaBots

The companion battlers of our initial pilot NFT set. Again 6 layers of composable pieces
would need to be made with 6 items in each to generate a 10k collection. These would
be a bit easier to do in my mind as each one has a very obvious layer like head, chest,
arms, legs, weapon?, background?

Phase 3
Any one-off pieces of the world / names / website art etc etc.

overall vibe in general:
