A sandwich is made by putting different ingredients between pieces of bread. The ingredients can be
vegetables, jam, chicken, cheese, and beef. We can also put mayonnaise, mustard, or ketchup to
enhance its flavour. If we compare it with hotdog, it consists of a similar ingredients like cooked
sausage usually made of beef, pork, or a combination of meats, a bun, which serves as the "bread"
for the hot dog. Various toppings, such as ketchup, mustard, onions, sauerkraut is also added on the
top of sausage. Hot dog can classify as a sandwich because it follows the basic structure of
ingredients between bread. However, when hot dog is eaten, we typically grab it from the sides to
keep the sausage and toppings inside the bun. For a sandwich we hold them from the top and
bottom. Furthermore, the bread of a hot dog is not fully sliced open, while sandwich bread is
different. Based on the facts mentioned above I believe that hot dog is not a sandwich because the
