WRITING TASK 1

The pie charts depict the proportion of transportation modes of people of the
UK use for commuting to work or study purposes to one university in 2004 and
2009. A glance at pie charts reveals people trend to use the commute a car
significantly decreased from the year 2004 and 2009, while other commuting
methods noticed upward trend.
Turning first to the year 2004, car users notably where just over a half
proportion of all commuters of university, followed by bus users, and bicycle
with nearly a third, and a small portion respectively. Furthermore, an
insignificant minority university commuter those preferred to walk while
followed by train service user with an unimportant proportion 3% only in the
UK.
However in 2009, mode of transportation commuters of university uses
dramatically changed. Majority of them uses bus service just under a half
proportion while surprisingly car user’s rapidly declined with almost a quarter.
Furthermore, evidently bicycle users gradually climbed with proportion of 7%
followed by walking, and train users with a very small proportion.
