procedure

consultant

entered in the ERP and the
discharge slip is prepared by the
medical officer

 After the discharge slip is


made the patient’s bill is
finalized by the pharmacy ,
laboratory, Radiology, and
physiotherapy
 The file is forwarded to the
accounts department
 The account department will
call the patient’s attendants to
settle their final bill
 The discharge slip is signed

floor and the patient is allowed
to leave the hospital

patient transfer ?

Ans- Care is required before patient


transfer includes packing up personal
belongings and information the patient
of the transfer’s specific’s, contacting
family members or informing the
patient of the new ward’s visiting
hours within the hospital. Equipment
used for transfer should also be
checked including oxygen and air
cylinder to ensure enough oxygen
supply for patient transit. No patient
transfer to be made without the
medical nursing and observational
charts. A “do not attempt resuscitation
from (DNAR)must also be transferred
within the medical notes in certain
circumstances

immobilise a body component or joint,
frequently in order to promote

9. What is chocking?
ANS- chocking occurs when a
foreign object becomes lodged in the
throat or windpipe and obstructs the
passage of air, often from food in
adults and ingestion of small objects in
children. Coughing, wheezing, trouble
speaking or bathing and blue or purple
skin are some signs of chocking. An
individual can provide frist aid to the
person who is chocking
