Nomoh, Maasim, Sarangani Province In accordance with the Department of Education (DepEd) Memorandum No. 069, s. 2023, Tambuan Dani IP School embarked on a remarkable journey to contribute to the Project-DepEd’s 236,000 Trees-A Christmas Gift foe the Children. The project was spearheaded by the School Head Maam Lallie Dianne Hope B. Manzano, along with the dedicated participation of six teachers. ‘The project aimed to instill the importance of environment conservation among the students and to provide a tangible contribution to the country’s reforestation efforts. The school's participation in the project was marked by a series of tree-planting activities, which were carried out with great enthusiasm and commitment by both the teachers and learners. ‘The school head, along with the six teachers, took the lead in organizing the activities. Teachers also provided educational sessions to the learners, explaining the significance of the project and the long-term benefits of tree planting. ‘The project was resounding success, with the school successfully planting their allocated trees. The learners showed great enthusiasm and interest in the project, and it served as a practical lesson on the importance of environmental conservation. ‘The implementation of DepEd Memorandum No. 069, s. 2023 at Tambuan Dani IP School was a significant success. It served as a testament to the school's commitment to environmental conservation and education, and it is hoped that similar initiatives will continue in the future.
