He is a 9-year-old boy who set up his own soap company, a venture that achieved
a million-dollar investment in the SHarK TanK program.

He lives in Sabaneta and created a company with which he sells more than 300
natural soaps every month, distributing them throughout Colombia.

What started in October 2020 as an idea to raise the money to buy a video game
console is today a big business. BukiBurbujas is the company of Samuel Grajales
Pineda, the first child in the country to appear on the Shark Tank Colombia program:
he managed to get the five sharks (investors) interested in his natural soap venture.

“Samu’s” way of being does not seem like that of a 9-year-old child: from how he
expresses himself to his walking style, they reflect his authenticity. All the time he
wants to go further: he asks, he questions. And that's how he started his company:
looking for answers. Then on the Internet he found how to make handmade soaps
and learned how to make them guided by tutorials.

In the first production, which was artisanal and with the help of his parents Johny
Grajales and Lorena Pineda, he produced 30 soaps. Currently, they manufacture
350 units every month, receiving orders from cities such as Neiva, Bogotá,
Villavicencio, La Guajira, municipalities of Antioquia and Boyacá, among other
places. It is a happy product. BukiBurbujas soaps come in different colors and
figures: there are bears, cars, unicorns, dogs, hippos, triceratops, butterflies. They
are made from 100% natural glycerin, extracted from an African palm. Inside they
come with a small toy, similar to Kinder eggs. Because? To promote, motivate and
encourage handwashing among boys and girls, according to Samuel.

Regarding the story behind the brand, the name came to Samuel when he merged
that of his two pets: Bu because he had a hamster that called him Buny; and Ki, for
his dog Kira.
