dedication, academic excellence, and a deep commitment to addressing complex challenges in the field of energy

Beyond his academic achievements, Mr. Shamim actively engaged in research and projects related to energy
extraction operations and their environmental consequences. His Final Year Project, titled "Enhanced Oil
Recovery Using Surfactants and a Comparison with Water Flooding," showcased his innovative thinking and
problem-solving skills. This project not only earned him academic accolades but also highlighted his early
recognition of the environmental impacts associated with energy extraction, specifically the depletion of
underground water reserves and underground water contamination.
