Travelling by air

As for me, travelling by air is the most comfortable way of going abroad, and
for some places, the only possible one. For example, in comparison with train or car
the plane is far faster - it can take a day by train to get to a place while a trip by plane
will require just an hour. So the plane will save your time but not money since it is
one of the most expensive means of transport. You pay not only for speed - during
the flight beautiful air hostesses and, less often, air stewards serve you drinks and
meals.
The profession of air hostess, from my point of view, has a big advantage - an
opportunity to visit many parts of the world for free, and if you stay in one country
for several days - the opportunity to study it in detail. But all this is exclusively for
travel lovers. By the way, the air hostesses are paid quite well, so it shouldn’t be
omitted. From the other hand, I can find many disadvantages in this occupation.
Firstly, an obvious harm to health that it causes due to pressure drops during takeoffs
and landings. Secondly, I find it pretty hard to work with people in stressful
circumstances because you never know how their emotions and feelings can affect
them. Finally, long absences do not play a positive role for family relationships,
especially if an air hostess has a child or children.
The job of air hostess may seem romantic and simple but as we can see now it
has its own difficulties. So we should respect the effort of air hostesses and treat them
politely.
