Introduction

Career planning is a continuous process of learning experience and planning where you

want to reach in the future by developing your skills, and abilities and availing the opportunities.

The career development plan is very important for everyone who wants to grow professionally

and pursue his/her dream job (Edu, 2021). According to my Indigo assessment matrix, my skills

and abilities which are Teamwork, Steadiness, research, Creativity and innovation, and

leadership qualities have led me to choose my career path.

The Objective for the Career

I want to choose my career path as a Business analyst and want it to be my long-term

goal. Since my Previous background is in business and currently doing my MBA from the

University of Canada West. This assignment will discuss my 5-year career plan to achieve my

goal. By the time 2028, I want to see myself as a senior business analyst and consultant in

Canada and also in my home Country. To achieve long-term goals I have divided my long-term

goals into the Sub-achievable goals through which I can reach the desired results within the time

My Sub-goals are divided into three parts. First and foremost I want to complete my

Master’s degree with a good CGPA minimum of 3.80. Secondly, my Goal is to get international

Exposure in the labor market of Canada. Third to get Permanent residence in Canada. Fourth to

develop an institution in Pakistan in my home country to provide the same level of education and

exposure to the people. Last but not least live a peaceful life with my old Parents.

term goal. According to the statistical report of the government of Canada, the unemployment

rate is very low around 4.5% as compared to other provinces of Canada, which means there are a

number of job opportunities available for this region of Canada as shown in the figure .

Secondly, I was very fond of learning the French language and almost 90% of the

population speak French which can also help me add value to my skills. The third reason was the
