Introduction:

Information technology is a growing field that offers relatively secure positions and provides
numerous opportunities to have a lucrative career in this field. The field of information
technology (IT) covers the design, administration and support of computer and
telecommunications systems which have always inspired me to study further in this field.
Hence, I have decided to pursue Web Design.

I had completed my secondary school certificate and higher secondary certificate in 2014 with
87% and 2016 with 58% from Gujarat Board. After schooling I pursed Bachelor of Computer
Application in 2019 with 8.81 CGPA from Sardar Patel University. Through the bachelor studies I
got keen interest in computers and programming languages. I acquired an overall perspective
of this scientific discipline, with a particular interest in Object-Oriented Programming, Operating
System, Database Management, Theory of Computation and Principles of Compiler Design,
Web Technology, Mobile Application (Android Developing). Though I have studied these
subjects still I am lacking myself on practical perspective so I think that I have not procured up-
to-date skills which are essential for my career growth. Due to lack of awareness of skills I was
not getting recruited in good reputed companies. So I decided to study aboard to gain
international knowledge and decide to study in Canada at CDI College and pursue Web design.

On long research for a bright future goal, every company needs multiple skilled people so in my
field also there is a lack of resources there is also a need for international level designing and
programming skills, every reputed or MNC company needed techno-commercial field
background employee so for right growth, I have decided to gain international knowledge
which will upgrade my profile so I opt to achieve more in this field and decided to study in
Canada.

I had appeared for IETLS exam for English proficiency and scored overall 6.0 bands-Listening-
6.0, Reading-6.0, Writing-6.0 and Speaking-5.5. My medium of instruction is also in English so I
can handle my course in English language.

Course selection: Web Design and programming

CDI College's Web Design program is designed to train professionals for positions such as web
page designer, website architect, web developer, website developer, web programmer, web
designer or webmaster which will help me build my career and gain more knowledge in a field
which I have been interested in. There’s a growing demand for creative professionals who also

possess a solid technical foundation and well-honed professional skills. Because the Art &
Design programs at CDI College are designed with input from key employers within the
industry, your program will prepare you for a successful career in one of Canada’s most exciting
and creative employment sectors.

Moreover, besides learning the latest web-design technology they have exclusive explanation
knowledge in programming such as Marketing Concepts with programming base, Database
Design for SQL server which will make me perfect on Manage Data Manipulation and Enforce
Business Logic through Stored Procedures also help in Design a Database with a Security Plan.
Web design and programming fields are in great demand nowadays especially in my country
India.

The advanced diploma program in Web design and development offered by the CDI College will
undoubtedly provide me with the right knowledge, skills, and experience to pursue that dream
and utilize the opportunities to the furthest extent. The practical orientation of your in-depth
coursework will not allow me to acquire a clear understanding of the subject but also the skills
to execute it. I am confident that my exposure to such initiatives will augment my knowledge
base and add tremendous value in enabling me to realize my professional goals.

Why I am intended to study in Canada:

The reason for preferring Canada is affordable tuition fee; quality education, post-study work
options as well as world-renowned institutions have made Canada one of the leading
destinations for studying abroad. With degrees and certificates that are recognized all over the
world over, engineering colleges in Canada follow very high academic standards and precise
quality controls that ensure that students get the high-quality education. Canada provides a
peaceful, safe and diverse environment to students, as well as an excellent working condition
and learning atmosphere. In Canada, the education is more practical centered whereas in India
education is more theory centered and one can only clear his doubts if he has practical
knowledge. While the quality of education and living standards in Canada are amongst the
highest in the world, the cost of living and tuition fees for international students like me are
generally lower than as compared to other countries.

Financial Background:

It has been year that my father Narendrabhai Patel has passed away dated on 16 th Jan 2018. My
father has a business which is now run by my mother Shilpaben Patel. Annual Income of my
from business work is 4,50,000 INR. My family also holds movable and immovable assets. I have
already paid one-year tuition fees worth CAD 16,727 and GIC worth CAD 10,300 in Nova Scotia
Bank to cover my living expenses. I have put across all the financial information and documents
that are required for the application.

Future prospects and plans:

After completion of this course, I intend to come back to my home country with the
outstanding skillet and join the Web designing industry, which continues to thrive in India. It
would also open doors to many leading companies in this field in India such as Quick Heal
Technologies, Rex Cyber Solution, NIKSUN, TCS, Amazon, Flip kart and Google on my return. In
this way, I wish to add to the general development of my country’s economy and become a
leading professional in my field. The socioeconomic advantages that I would be availing as a
result of staying with my family would also play a pivotal role on my return.

My parents are my motivation and they have never discouraged me for anything in my life and
they still want me to study and enrich my knowledge. Being a family-oriented person and the
only son of my family, my main motive is to provide emotional as well as financial support to
them. My mother also working on single handed therefore, it is my responsibility to look after
her. Nevertheless, I also want to act as a helping hand during their growing age as they have
sacrificed and compromised for me throughout their life. So, I would like to return to my
homeland after the successful completion of my degree as well as my stay period in Canada.
