LETTER OF INTENT

Project management is considered as one of the most important aspect in any work or
leading project because it ensures that information that is being delivered is right and
will deliver actual value in regards the opportunity. It also ensure that the aim of the
project is aligned with the strategic goals of the task. A good project manager have a
clear and specific vision to set a goal with achievable deadlines, that enables everyone
enrolled in the project to work within reasonable viewpoints, and not unnecessary
expectations. There are numerous crucial expertise that a project management
professional requires to attain such as; Planning and Strategic thinking, task
management skills, scheduling, effective and convincing communication skills and
many other. All these adroitnesses can only be achieved through a perfectly planned
course work. That is why, I am aiming to study Certified diploma in Project
Management from Algoma University, Canada.

In my academic profile, I did my matriculation from Central Board of School

Education in the year 2011 with 9.4 CGPA. Later, in the year 2013, i completed my
school graduation (12th) from same education board and scored 73.8% marks. In my
higher education, I have successfully done Bachelor of Science in Zoology from
Kurukshetra University and achieved 71.89% marks. Following this, I also
completed Master of Science (Biotechnology) in the year 2018 with from
Kurukshetra University with 68.45% marks.

I started working with Aishwarya Lifesciences as Process Development Scientist on

2nd July, 2018. I worked there till 20th August, 2020.

The idea of studying further came into my mind during the time when I was leading
some task at my workplace. I found that i am good at the technical skills that i have
but when it comes to handling managerial tasks and being a leading person, then i
require a lot of things to learn such as team management, organising work according
to the concerned person meeting deadlines, scheduling etcetera. At the moment I was
working, I felt really under confident and even I saw that my seniors are good at same
work. They know very well that how to manage every little thing while being a team
leader. After all of this, I was sure for one thing that I must have to learn all the skills
for being a good Manager or project leader. This is when and why, I took the decision
to study project management program and applied for the same at Algoma University.

To obtain a higher education, I finalised Canada as a country of choice as i found it

best among many other countries around the globe. Canada is well known for
providing globally recognised programs of less duration that completes everything for
which these programs are prepared. Apart from this, the country has a welcoming
environment as people are kind and friendly. Universities and colleges are ranked on
global level and provide special facilities to international students. Moreover, Canada
is a cross cultural country with students from nearly 180 countries. Canada is one of
the safest places for international students and also preferred on priority as it has the
most liveable cities such as Toronto, Vancouver etcetera. Even more, cost of
education and living expenses are lesser and can be afforded easily. The institutes in
Canada are more emphasised on providing practical based and industry level
education to the students. I found all these valid and satisfying reasons to study in
Canadian institute and not in any other country.

Now, to be eligible for studying in Canada, I prepared for IELTS exam and appeared
for it on 02nd November, 2019. In that, I scored overall 6.5 bands. Individually, I
scored 7.5 in Listening, 6.5 in Reading & Writing and 6.0 in Speaking.

Algoma University has a really good reputation in Canada for providing international
level education to both domestic and international students. It has been serving since
1965 and have established strong place in Canadian education society. Institute is well
known for providing program that have focus on career oriented learning and practical
based education. Moreover, the university also runs many other cultural events to help
the students to learn from other people around them about traditions and languages
etcetera. Algoma University has ranked in top education providers in Canada for
providing internationally accepted education along with affordable tuition fee. The
university has diversified atmosphere for students to enjoy variety of events during
their stay. All these facts impressed me about university and i found it a perfect place
and institute to study further and make a relevant career.

The objective of studying the Certified program in Project Management qualification

is to acquire an excellent knowledge for a career in a range of organisations. This
course is designed to ensure that each learner is a confident , independent thinker with
a detailed knowledge of management , and equipped with the skills to adapt rapidly to
change. This management study will teach me to understand how people behave in
organisations, and the nature of power, influence and leadership. The qualification has
a clear work-related emphasis on practical skills development alongside theoretical
fundamentals. After Completion of the program in project Management,I will equip
with the key skills and capabilities to become an effective Manager. This will be
achieved through studying various subjects such as Fundamental of Project
Management, Culture and Communication, Management skills and Secondary
Research methods, Project scope and change management,Project Management
and proposal writing etcetera. All in all, the entire course work is made to equip the
students with information that will directly be used in the job market for a successful
and long term career path.

In completing this education from Canada, my family is completely supporting me

financially and emotionally. They are having sufficient amount of funds and regular
source of income to sponsor my education and other living expenses. My only goal is
to get desired education and return back to my home country.
