Often Self-discovery processes are important to any organization
because they help employees improve their self-awareness and gain an
understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. Ultimately, this allows
them to more effectively contribute to the organization and reach their
highest potential. As studied by, the process also provides employees with
an opportunity to reflect on their career goals and objectives, creating a
sense of ownership and motivation. Further, organizations carry out elf-
discovery processes to help them to create a better team dynamic, as
employees can identify and utilize each other’s strengths in order to achieve
common goals. By doing this, they become more productive, efficient, and
successful.

For Walmart, poor communication between departments and levels of


management at can have a number of negative consequences. It can lead to
a lack of alignment on goals and processes, leading to inefficiencies and
confusion, a lack of trust between departments and levels of management,
leading to a lack of collaboration and innovation. This hinders knowledge
sharing, leading to a lack of understanding of the company as a whole. To
address this issue, there is a need for Walmart to focus on improving its
communication systems. This can include instituting more effective
communication channels, such as virtual meetings or video conferencing, as
well as facilitating more open communication between departments and
levels of management.
