1 FOR-Destination will be preferred. Firm should clearly indicate/mention freight charge. Offer with
freight charges at actual will not be considered as valid offer. 2 Inspection by RITES. 3 The purchaser
reserves the right to split the procurement quantity between two or more sources depending upon the
vital /critical nature of the item, quantity, delivery requirements, capacity of the firm, past performance
of the firm and other terms. 4 Successful bidder/tenderer other than those not registered with
NSIC/RDSO/SECR for the tendered item/Trade Group require to submit security deposit @ 10 percent
of the total offer value within 14 days, failing which RP action will be taken at their risk cost. 5 If cartel
Instructions/Remarks formation is suspected, Railway reserves the right to place order on one or more Firms with exclusion
of the rest without assigning any reason thereof. 6 Risk purchase if applicable will be tenable within a
period of nine months after expiry of delviery peroid. 7 Delivery period is the essence of contract,
Hence vague delivery schedule like 02 to 06 months etc. is not acceptable. Firm should quote clear
delivery schedule. 8 All the offers shall be evaluated as per tax regime as applicable on the date of
tender opening. 9 Preference to be given to past/proven sources having satisfactory supply
performance to this railway. 10 Other terms and conditions are as per tender document available in
ireps site.
