IN THE PRESENCE OF GRACE: SAMYAMA EXPERIENCE

When I registered for Samyama, I expected to get some
clarity within myself as a lot of things were going haywire In the Lap of Serenity
around me. However, as Samyama dates got closer, the Marghazi Sadhana Journey at IYC
expectations started to disappear. I naturally came to a PAGE 03
state of giving myself totally to the process. I approached
it as if it were the last thing I was doing before leaving this Defying December Chill
world, and I have nothing to lose but myself. During those Volunteers Make IE Triumph

IN THE LAP OF SERENITY:
MARGHAZI SADHANA JOURNEY AT IYC
After thinking for a long time, I applied for the 14-day
Marghazi Sadhana in Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore. I
was also going for Samyama from December 13-20,
and hence, 14 days of more leave was a big task for
me as I am in government service. I asked my boss,
and since I don't take much leave & am dedicated to
my work, he allowed me to go. The schedule was very
good; it was available both online & offline.
I used to wake up before 4 a.m. to take a dip in Suryakund.
And then we used to do guided practices at Nalanda
Ground. I really liked my routine and am following it even
after coming home, as I can do all my practices before going
to the office each day.
I used to sit in Dhyanalinga for 1-2 hours and visit Linga
Bhairavi for Devi Abhishekam and chant Devi Stuti. I have
developed a next-level dedication for Devi. Sometimes in the
evening, I did Adiyogi pradakshina. It was like a dream come
true to stay in a heaven-like space. The food was awesome,
healthy, light, and positive pranic. I used to sleep at 9 p.m.
After 3-4 days of Marghazi Sadhana, I attended Sadhguru
Darshan on Christmas Eve. It was an enriching experience
and after that, I had a new type of energy. From that day till
the last day of my sadhana, I was very regular.
I am continuing my sadhana even after coming, and I feel
like dwijas after coming from ISHA. I can't logically explain
everything, but it has changed me from the inside. I am
more energetic, healthier, and happier than ever before, & I
am intensely involved in everything that I am
doing. I am quite amazed that I love
everything happening in my life. I am
very grateful to Sadhguru, volunteers,
Brahamcharis, and all the other people
who facilitated all these things
happening to me.

Defying December Chill: Volunteers Make Inner
Engineering Triumph
Despite the December fog, smog, and cold in Delhi, the commitment
to offer seva among our volunteers in Dwarka remained unwavering.
In fact, we gathered in large numbers to support those initiated
recently in the inner Engineering program. We hosted 50 participants
and conducted morning and evening sessions from December 6 to
12 in Dwarka.
A dedicated group of 40 volunteers ensured a seamless and joyful
experience for all participants. In addition to the Inner Engineering
program, we conducted our monthly Satsang on December 3. This
highly anticipated activity brings together meditators for their kriya
practice and an enriching Satsang with fellow practitioners. The time
spent collectively listening to Sadhguru's discourse and interacting
with one another strengthens our shared commitment to fostering
a conscious lifestyle.

Volunteering Experiences
Volunteering at Isha Place Lucknow
At times, I get anxious about things once in a while, and it
happened again recently. That's when I decided to volunteer at
Isha Place Lucknow. Surprisingly, the experience works wonders,
almost like magic! Engaging in sadhana and being in the
presence of Sadhguru transformed my thoughts and emotions.
As I left the place, I transitioned from a state of fearfulness to one
of joyfulness and gratitude. It's as if a new version of myself
emerges within just two hours!

Shredding Challenges and Finding Light

Volunteering has been primarily a role that pushes
me to drop something of myself each time. That
something can be a business problem, a family
problem, or some unfavourable situation that has
been nagging me for quite some time. To focus on
the seva at hand, many a time you need to leave
some thoughts running in the background. It is

painful sometimes to leave the background noise of means to
such thoughts, but eventually, you come out a little become

Finding Strength in Sadhana in other words,
I have been facing challenging times lately. My sister had to become
an accident a month ago, and she has been unconscious
an absolute
ever since. Initially, I doubted if I could continue my
Sadhana amidst everything that was happening. YES to life.
Nevertheless, I persisted. The strength I derive from my
Sadhana is what's helping me navigate through these
tough times. The effects of Sadhana may not be
immediately apparent, but they have had a profound
impact. It's been a source of endurance, enabling me to
face whatever challenges come my way and maintain
patience.
