July 2024 (Tuesday to Saturday).

enable students to experience how engineering plays a
part in our daily lives.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Form a team of maximum 4 members (Cat 1 to Cat 3) / maximum of 5 members (Cat 4). Cat 4 is only applicable for
undergraduates. Research and PhD students are not eligible to participate in the Challenge.
Submit a project report on background, project description and detailed proposal by 12 April 2024 (Sun) via www.ned-ies.org.
Shortlisted teams will be informed by 12 May 2024 (Sun) to develop their prototype and video introduction of their project.
Shortlisted teams will receive S$100 Seed Fund (Cat 1 to 3) and S$500 Prototype Fund (Cat 4) via electronic banking transfer
after the Prize Presentation Ceremony at NED 2024.
Participants should present virtually with ready prototypes to the judges during the final judging in July 2024.
Finalists will be invited to attend the NED-EIC Prize Presentation Ceremony held on 13 July 2024.
