At the end of the module, you will be able to use appropriate graphic organizers in text read.

Graphic organizers are charts or visuals which are used to represent what we think
of. They show the relationship of words, phrases, and ideas.

Some examples of graphic organizers are the following:

• Venn diagram is used to identify similarities and differences between persons, places,
things, animals, stories, and ideas.

Example:

• Timeline diagram is used to show sequence of events.

Example:
• Flow chart is used to show a process.

Example:

• Semantic map is used to show the connections of words, phrases, and concepts.
