    I acknowledge that I received Ugandan shillings; one million, five hundred, thousand shillings only
    (1,500,000/=) for the purchase of examination materials as per the cutting list for both year one and two
    students of National Certificate in Automotive Mechanics 2023, and spent as detailed below:

     Bought fuel pump at 50,000/=
     Bought service card at 5,000/=
     Bought battery clips at 5,000/=
     Bought digital multimeter at 80,000/=
     Bought tyre repair kit at 40,000/=
     Bought 12 bulb sockets at 60,000/=
     Bought diesel fuel at 20,000/=
     Bought batter rugs at 10,000/=
     Bought 8 bulbs at 8,000/=
     Bought 1 thread tape at 2,000/=
     Bought brake pads (front) at 25,000/=
     Bought mild steel sheet at 200,000/=
     Bought rivets at 30,000/=
     Bought cotton waste at 2,000/=
     Bought nozzle tester at 600,000/=
     Bought combination switch at 150,000/=
     Bought brake switch at 25,000/=
     Bought liming board at 80,000/=

    TOTAL AMOUNT SPENT IS 1,500,000/=

    Most of the items as per the cutting list were not bought because the money given was not as
    requested. This might have a negative impact on the examinations, most especially year two
    examinations.

    Crucial items not purchased included the following as per the cutting list:
    1 Crocodile clips
    2 Assorted wires
    3 Battery
    4 Relay
    5 Flasher unit
    6 Tubeless tyre
    7 Diesel engine
    8 Lab thermometer
