BARBIE THE MOVIE ( ENGLISH DRAMA) KELOMPOK 1

SCENE 1

NR: Barbie is the most popular doll in the world. She has her own house, her own car, and her own
career. Because barbie can be anything, women can be anything and this is being reflected by on to the
little girl of today in the real world. Girls can grow to a women who can achieve everything or anything
they say they want. Thanks to barbie, every problem of feminism and equal rights have been solved… at
least that’s what the barbie’s think, so because of that in the out a space Barbie land Was formed.

(Barbie starts wearing heels)(backsound)

Br 1: Oh hi everyone! This is Barbie Land. In Barbie Land, we can be anything and anyone as long as if
you are a women. Of course every night is girls night, right? (wink). C'mon girls!

(going into barbie’s house)

Br 2:Hey look!..... ken looking for you outside.

(barbie 1 go outside to see ken)

Ken: Oh hi barbie! Its really good to see you right now

Barbie: What’s happened ken?

Ken: Can I go inside?

Barbie: For what??

Ken: you know because we were girl friend boy friend. Ken made for barbie and we must be together
everytime. So can I go inside?

Barbie: NO! this is barbie dream house not ken dream house. And tonight it’s a girls night!

Ken: Haha….Everynight its girls night

Barbie: Yes forever and ever. I have to go Ken, everyone’s waiting for me. babay!!
(barbie’s friend call her from inside the house) (barbie walk into the house)

Ken: (yell) Byee, can I see you tomorrow? Hey barbie can we meet tomorrow?

Barbie: (yelling back) of course ken!

Ken: That’s always a girls night everynight forever.

SCENE 2

NR: In Barbie land, Barbie has a great day everyday, but Ken only have a great day when barbies look at
him
(4 ken and 4 barbie is meet)

Ken4: Hi barbie (wave to barbie) look at this (show his musle)

Barbie’s:Hi Ken!

Ken2: Yoo barbie check this out! (ken 1 looking angry)

Ken3: Hey barbie! This one look better right (play a basketball) (ken1,ken2, get pissed)

Ken1: You wanna see more?, I’ll give you an action (smirk)

(ken 1 run and jump, but he fell)

Ken1: BARBIE HELP ME! CAN SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE PLEASE….

Barbie1: MY GODNES! (hold ken) someone help help

Ken1: holding barbie’s hand* “don’t leave me barbie stay by my side. I cant live without you” (act
dramatic)

doctor1: oh I think you are all good…

SCENE 3

(scene barbie got malfungtion)

(Barbie walks with the Barbies, then trips and falls)

Barbie1: Ouch! Its hurts

Barbie 3: Barbie….you okay?

Barbie 4: Oh my god

Barbie1: I feel so embarrassed

Barbie2: Hey..we are barbie’s we don’t feel embarrassed

Barbie1: Do you think this is a sign of death?

All barbies is shock

NR; Oh poor barbie… In barbie land they never have a thought of death or feel embarrassed what
happened to you barbie…look now all of your friend confused

(Then, barbie back her home, open her heels and see her barbie feet change to flat feet)

Barbie: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Barbie friend: (Come to see) AAAAAAAA FLAT FEET…… HUWEEEK

Barbie; What the heck is happened to me? and my feet?

Barbie2: What you feel?

Barbie: Thought of death and flat feet

Barbie friend: YOUR BEING MALFUNGTION

barbie3: I think you should go to weird barbie. She will help you with your problem

SCENE 5

NR; Barbie then decided to go to Weird Barbie's house to try fix her malfungtion

Br1: Hello is anyone here…..?

(Weird barbie shock her)

Br1: AAACK YOU SHOCK ME

BW; Hahahah, sorryy. Whats bring you here, Beautifull?

NR: Barbie then tell all the malfungtion that happened to her, after think for a long time she
and weird barbie solve the problem

BW; you open the portal my dear and you have to solve this by going to real world. the choice is
in your hand. You want to stay here and be malfungsion or going to real world and solve all
problem.

Br1: Eeeem

BW: You see, Each barbie connected to one girl so if you have a malfungtion that maybe
because your girl feeling sad and have a problem.

SCENE 6
NR; Barbie then decieded to go to real world even though with a heavy heart just to solve his
malfungtion problem and find her girl
(Barbie on her way to the Real World, followed by Ken)

Br1: What are you doing here? Go back to barbie land

Ken: No! I will go with you. I don’t want other ken think I’m a bummer! And I supposed to
always be your side. I promise I will help.

Br1: Ugh.. Okay the. But promise me don’t screw up

(Barbie and Ken Arrive at the Real World)

RpM1: Wooho, You’re hot girl

RpF1,2: (laugh to barbie and ken)
RpM2: Hey Cutiee, What’s bring the beautifull angel like you here?
RpF3: Hey boy (wink to ken)

Br1: Why everything here vibe so.. Male?

Ken: Everything is almost like.. reversed here

Br1: Um, whatever. I don’t want to think about that right now. I just want to focus to find my
girl and go back to barbie land.

Nr: Barbie then decides to go around looking for the girl but all she gets is a rejection, ridicule,
and teasing looks that follow her everywhere she go. Meanwhile in other side, ken enjoy the
power of men in the real world and make plan to bring that to barbie land. But there something
that they don’t know.. Someone know they leave barbie land. Not someone exactly, some
company

Sm1: How can they get out from barbie land?

Sm2: OH you think I know?!

Sm1: Should we get the barbie?

Sm2: Really you asking me this? Of course we go looking for her. Are you crazy or sum? LETS GO
GET THEM

(Scene Barbie is chased by Matel's staff)

Sasha: Oh hi! Who are you.. You look new but I think I know you

Br1: Of course you know me. I’m barbie, everyone know me

Shasa: BARBIE.. OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU I’M SUPER EXCITED TO SEE YOU. You know, I’ve been
lonely lately, and I found a barbie that I played with before. So I played it again because I
thought it made me happy. I was sad and felt strange feelings and it was reflected in the picture
which became sad and strange. Maybe because I can’t be like you, I made my barbie look like
me

Br1: Wait, wait, wait.. Do any of those thoughts is thoughts of death?

Sasha: Yes, yes! The thoughtfull of death barbie

Br1: OH MY GOD I CAME FOR YOU HONEY!

Sasha: What… You came for mee??! (HUG)

Br1: I think Barbie makes the real world better. But in fact real world is always messy

Sasha: The real world isn’t perfect, but you inspired me, Barbie. We have to run from these
people

Br1: You know what? We can go to barbie land right now. I will show you everything.

Sasha: What?? No way! That’s my dream

SCENE 6

Nr: Barbie and Sasha then decided to return to barbie land. But what they didn’t know that Ken
had arrived at Barbie Land first and told all Ken about how important men are in the real world,
and make all the barbie follow them

(Barbie and Sasha arrived)

Br1: (Shock) Whats happened here?...

Sasha: I did not expect barbie land to look like this

Br2: Because they’re not. We supposed to see girls spirit here. Look, we supposed to see
construction barbie here, and here we supposed to see all barbie playing volley ball. What is
happening here?

Sasha: Barbie.. (calmed barbie)

Ken: I’m so hungry, where’s my snack girl?

Br2: Here’s your snack my boy

Br1: WHAT ARE YOU DOING? You are a doctor. (talk to ken) What’s wrong with them?

Ken: We just explained to them the perfect seamless logic that is patriarchy, and they crumbled

Sasha: Oh my God, this is like the real world when women had no defenses againts man

Ken: (Laugh) Buckle up baby, because barbie land is now ken land and it’s gonna be just the real
world. Because they had it all figured out in real world the minute you see this place you will go
like, I cant’t believe how great this place is
Br2,3 and Ken: Yess (Laugh)
Br1: NO NO No! They don’t have it figured out in real world because we failed them

Ken: NO! YOU FAILED ME! Out there I was somebody, when I walk down the street people
respected me just for who I am. I’m just a dude and you know what? That’s enough

Ken2: You know, in 24 hours from now, we all the ken will take the constitution to make the
ken become president of barbie land

Ken3: And now, barbie land will become Ken land, for the ken’s, of the ken’s and by the ken’s

Br1: You cant do this. This is barbie land. The barbies worked hard and dream hard to make
everything that it is. You can’t just undo it in one day

Ken: If you excuse me, this is Ken dream house, not barbie dream house. So you can leave now

Ken4: It’s BOYS NIGHTT RIGHT?

All ken: YESS!

Ken: Everynight is boys night. Forever

SCENE 7

Nr: Oh dear barbie, now when everyone are happy, you’re crying on your own. No more Barbie
Land, now your dreams are all gone.

(barbie pun terduduk dengan sedih dan menangis)

Barbie: Now barbie land fall apart what am I gonna do ( menangis)

Shasa: I cant make this happened ( berlari memanggil barbie gila)

(barbie tetap menangis dng tersedu sedu dan sedih)

Barbie gila: hei wake up, wake up ( menampar nampar barbie)

Shasha: come on we gonna Take Barbie Land back from the Kens

Barbie gila: we have to make plan come to my place we can find a way to take them down

NR: Barbie shasha and weird barbie going to weird barbie house and make a plan to take the
barbie land back

Shasha: we have to gather all the barbies and tell them that barbie is everything, we…girls can
be anything we want
Barbie gila: I’ts true and that’s start from yourself barbie (menunjuk ke arah barbie) you have to
influence them

Barbie: you guys sure this can make them realized what is happening

Shasha&barbie gila: (menatap barbie) YESSS!!!!

SCENE 8

NR: they then prepared their plans carefully and were ready to gather all the barbie in barbie
land before everything was to late…. They invite all barbie they see in barbie land.in ken house,
in the beach,and even a Barbie who is with Ken at the street.

Barbie: Hai girls, it feels strange stand here but what I want all of you to know that we

Barbies,are everything. this is our Barbie land, so we have to fight for it together.

(barbie meunjuk ke arah barbie 2)

Barbie: don’t you remember you are a really talented doctor (memegang bahu barbie2)

Shasha: and you… you are a president of barbie land please remember(memegang bahu barbie)

Weird barbie: all of you girls are talented women please you have to remember

Barbie3: OH MY GOD… I remember Im a lawyer im smart and pretty

Barbie 4: yes I remember…. What happened to me ( melihat kearah sekitar) what happened to us

(barbie barbie lain pun kemudian tersadar) (barbie shasha and weird barbie berteriak kegirangan)

SCENE 9

NR: all the barbie then go to the ken house and ready to take their barbie land back The Kens

who were hangout in ken house confused by the arrival of all the Barbies in front of them…

Barbie 3: get out from our house

Barbie: this land is our land

Barbie4: we want a justice to all of us

Nina masukin part yg ken pick me yg dia bilang dia selama ini tdk pernah dianggap dll gak usah

ikut lurus lurus di film yang omongin sndiri sendiri langsung liar sj sama sama disitu baku adu

mulut nanti penengahnya ada shasa mattel dan grandma
