1. Creekside students would be zoned for Johnson Elementary.

4. The subdivision south of Barksdale identified as Sonoma


Valley will be zoned for Johnson Elementary as well.

5. School Choice and District Choice will not be an option


at Creekside Primary or Creekside Elementary.

6. Due to not immediately requiring East Limestone students


to move, current students under Choice will be allowed to
stay at East Limestone.

1. Area zoned for Elkmont currently zoned for
Johnson/Ardmore above U.S. Hwy. 251.
2. Rising K-12th grade students can remain at
Johnson/Ardmore until they graduate if
transportation can be provided. Any new
students will be zoned for Elkmont.
B L U E S P R I N GS / C LE M E N T S
EXPANSION
1. Tanner students are zoned for Clements and
Blue Springs.
2. Rising K-12 students can remain
at Tanner until they graduate if
transportation can be provided.
Any new students will be zoned for
Blue Springs/Clements.
TANNER EXPANSION
1. Current mixed zoning area for Creekside,
East Limestone, and Tanner.

2. Creekside students would be zoned for


Tanner Elementary.

3. Rising 4th and 5th grade students can remain


at Creekside. Younger siblings may also remain
at Creekside until the 4th or 5th grader moves
to 6th grade. Transportation must be provided.

4. Rising 6th-12th graders can remain at East


Limestone High School. Transportation must
be provided.

5. Any new students will be zoned for Tanner.


K E Y P O I N TS
1. Students are phased in but based on current numbers, 143
students would be moved from Creekside Elementary and
Creekside Primary.

2. All current East Limestone students would remain, with some


students being phased out over time. The current capital plan has
funding for additional classrooms at East which will accommodate
current and future growth.
3. We hope to make the final decision for rezoning at our March 12, 2024
meeting. This would take effect for the 2024-2025 school year.
