WRITTEN EVIDENCE

1. Identify the question(s) or inquiry that guided your sustained investigation.

Light is the most important part of photography. It illuminates our world and allows us to enjoy our
planet's beauty. Light also reflects off various surfaces and causes duplications of certain images.
Our environment is filled with surfaces that allow us to see objects from multiple dimensions.
Reflection can also be refracted and abstracted depending on the surface curvature and quality.
With an open mind, we can observe our environment from a different perspective, and look for
changes that offer so much beauty enhanced through various reflections.

2. Describe how your sustained investigation shows evidence of practice,

experimentation, and revision guided by your question(s) or inquiry.

As I started to photograph my theme, I started noticing commonalities. Windows, glass, and

reflective surfaces create interesting abstraction by joining interior and exterior spaces (sus 2,5,6).
Rain brings out clouds, keeps the crowds in, and creates interesting reflections of sky, clouds, and
people (sus 3,11,14). Small reflective surfaces reflect and mirror a larger environment (sus 1,10).
Unusual surfaces create distortion and abstract the image that is being reflected (sus 4,8,9,12).
Light shining through transparent surfaces illuminates and floods the environment w color (sus
7,13,15).
