RESEARCH TITLE DEFENSE
Guardians of Wellness: Gathering Insights of Nurses Regarding
the Importance of Antibacterial Spray
Introduction:

The research revolves around the importance of antibacterial spray usage on nurses. We
aim to explore how using antibacterial sprays among nurses contributes to a clean and safe
healthcare environment, emphasizing the well-being of nurses and improving patient care
standards.

Rationale:
Through conducting this research we will learn more about how antibacterial spray affects
hygiene and infections among nurses and patients, to lessen the possibility of contamination and
harm not just to the nurses but also to the patients and to help utilize the use of wasted
watermelon seeds after eating as a tool for sanitation. We aim to provide a natural alternative for
antibacterial sprays that are already existing in the market.
Research Questions:
1. What are the common antibacterial sprays that nurses are using?
2. How does the implementation of antibacterial measures influence the efficacy of hygiene
practices among healthcare nurses?
3. Why is it important to use antibacterial spray for nurses?
Plan for Making it Quantitative:
We thought of creating an antibacterial spray made of powdered watermelon seeds. To
test its efficacy, we will do a laboratory test.

Title Adjustment will be made. It will be “Nurse’s Healthcare Hygiene: Innovating

Watermelon Seeds as Sanitation Aid”
