Polymer-modified bitumen emulsion with mineral fillers
The substrate must be swept clean prior to the application of BORNIT® Asphalt Pore Sealer;
remove loose particles. The contact surfaces must be free from any components acting as separating
agents (e.g. oil, grease, fuel etc.). It is recommended to pre-wet slightly with water or prime with BORNIT®
Asphalt Adhesive on aged, weathered surfaces.

The slurry must be stirred thoroughly before use (mechanically with a slow-running stirrer) until a homo-
geneous mass is obtained. Afterwards the ready-to-use BORNIT® Asphalt Pore Sealer can be easily and
smoothly applied with a rubber blade or soft broom by spreading it evenly and thinly (max. 1.0 kg/m²).
The coating can be subsequently sprinkled with fine crushed sand.

After drying, a non-slip, durable and closed surface is formed. A subsequent treatment and refreshing of
the coating is possible at any time.

TIP: Kerbs or installations can be masked off

with a „stone tape“ to achieve clean connec-
tions.
