An Essay Describing A Person

Crafting an essay that delves into the intricacies of describing a person may initially appear to be a
straightforward task. However, the challenge lies not in the simplicity of the subject matter but in the
depth and nuance required to truly capture the essence of an individual. The endeavor to encapsulate
someone's character, personality, and impact on your life within the confines of an essay demands a
delicate balance between objectivity and personal connection.

To begin with, selecting the right person to focus on is a critical decision. Is it a family member, a
friend, a historical figure, or perhaps even oneself? Each choice brings its own set of challenges. For
instance, describing a close friend may lead to the temptation of veering into overly sentimental
territory, while tackling a historical figure might require extensive research to ensure accuracy.

Once the subject is chosen, the challenge deepens as you grapple with the task of conveying the
person's essence through words. Language becomes both your ally and your adversary. It's a tool
that can vividly paint a portrait, but it also has its limitations. The risk of falling into clichés or
resorting to generic adjectives looms large, potentially diluting the uniqueness of the person you are
trying to depict.

Moreover, the structure of the essay is crucial. Should you opt for a chronological account of the
person's life, a thematic approach highlighting key aspects, or a more abstract exploration of their
impact on your own life? Each choice brings its own set of challenges, and finding the right balance
requires careful consideration.

Additionally, the challenge extends to striking the right tone. Balancing objectivity with personal
insight, avoiding exaggeration without underselling the person's significance – these are delicate
tightropes to navigate. The challenge is not just in presenting the facts but in weaving them together
seamlessly to create a cohesive and engaging narrative.

In conclusion, while the topic of describing a person might seem straightforward at first glance, the
process of doing so presents a myriad of challenges. From the initial selection of the subject to the
intricacies of language, structure, and tone, the journey to produce a compelling essay requires careful
thought and skillful execution.

Juana s The Pearl
The impression that you get from a character may be really different from what you
find out they actually are at the end of the story. In the first chapter of The Pearl ,
Juana seemed to be a strong maternal character. She seemed very brave and strong.
However, as the story unfolded, her character turned out to be weaker than she seemed
to be at the start. Juana falls behind Kino s shadow. The impression Juana gave in the
beginning of the story was that she was brave and strong. She risked her life by
sucking out the scorpion s poison from Coyotito s shoulder. ...she was like a strong man.
(7; ch. 1). Reading the first few chapters, I believed that Juana was really someone
strong, someone who would have a voice. As I continued reading onto the next chapters,
I was proved completely wrong. Juana s husband Kino is the dominant person in the
relationship. The speakeralways mentioned how Juana... Show more content on

In the end of chapters 3 and 4, I doubted my own thoughts. Juana tried convincing Kino
to get rid of the pearl. She kept telling him awful things about the pearl but he never
listened to her and refused to do what she said. Juana said,
This thing is evil...This pearl is like a sin! It will destroy us...Throw it away, Kino. Let
us break it between stones. Let us bury it and forget the place. Let us throw it back into
the sea. It has brought evil. Kino, my husband, it will destroy us...Even our son. (38 39,
ch. 3)
Juana kept telling Kino about how the pearl was evil. She told him twice and you can
tell she was very emotional about it because she cried as she said those words. Kino
never listened to her and refused to obey what she told him. If Juana was really a
stronger character, Kino might have listened or at least thought about obeying her rather
than immediately going against her point. I believe that this shows how Kino is more
superior to Juana, hence why I believe that she falls behind his
The Temple Of God Essay
Temple of God: What Does it has to do with My Body?
The temple of God is a sacred place of worship filled with the awesome presence of the
Lord. God designed two types of temple. The first one is made from materials (structures
of heaven and church buildings on earth). And the second type of temple is constructed
through His breath (the body of Angels and Man).
The main purpose of creation is to worship God in praises. Psalm 66 verse 4 says: All the
earth shall worship You and sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name.
Why did God create our body as a form of temple? Well, the answer is not far fetch,
because God dwells in the Praises of His people. Thus, our body must be designed to
contain His presence. You will understand this point clearly if you are the type that
worship God with all your heart. My body is not always the same when the Lord dwells
in my praises to Him...it is a wonderful experience I love so much. Psalm 22 verse 3 ...

The plan of God for the population of about 7 billion people on earth is to become His
temples (dwelling places of praise and worship). But the publication released by the
International Bulletin of Missionary Research in mid 2015 showed that the total number
of Christian in the world is about 2.42 billion. Does that translate to 2.42 billion temples?
False Teaching about the Body
Your body is fearfully and wonderfully made by God. The psalmist meditated and
discovered the great significance of the body. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and
wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
(Psalm 139:14)
But, devil cooked up false teachings about our body so that we can sin against God s
temple. Few of the false teachings are:
1.God does not care about your body but cares about your spirit and soul
2.You can do anything to beautify your
