ELIGIBILITY
All rated and unrated players are eligible to participate.

Rating compression by fide effected from 1st of January 2024 (if applicable)
(0.40)X (2000-Rating)

1. Age Group Prize-Player will get prize in own his/her Group.

2. Players who qualified for more than one prizes will be considered
only for the higher prize.
3. All outstation Players & Parents has must ID proof for Staying.
4. The organizing Committee has the right to accept or reject any entry
without assigning any reason.
Tournament Rules:
System of Play: The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of
Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 9 rounds and Swiss System Time
Control 25 Minutes each +05 seconds increment per move from move No.1
Default Time (Walk Over Time) The default time will be 10 minutes
Tie Break: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect. The
Cash prizes however will not be shared.
Electronic Devices: - All electronic items including wrist watches (all type of
watches) are not allowed in the tournament hall.
Protest: Protest if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be made in
Writing with protest fee of Rs. 1,000/- within 15 minutes of the occurrence of the
incident to the appeals committee. the protest fee will be refunded if the appeal is
upheld
Parents and accompanying persons are not allowed inside the tournament hall
at all times.
Covid safety – Covid guidelines must be followed.
Players are obliged to undergo random RT PCR/Antigen Test conducted by
the organizing committee if needed.
Due to any unforeseen scenario, if the event needs to be cancelled, then
Jaipur Chess Coaching's obligation is limited to refunding the entry fee
paid by the players.
