1. What are some benefits of using the touch-typing method?

First, touch typing makes working at a computer more comfortable. Second, it enhances communication
between colleagues and customers. Third, it improves the accuracy of documents. From a productivity
standpoint, an individual's typing speed increases when switching from two-finger typing to touch typing.
2. Which keys should the fingers of the left and right hands rest on when using the touch-typing
method?
Your hands should be deeply curved with your fingertips placed in the center of each Home key (A, S, D,
and F on the left and J, K, L, and Semicolon on the right). Your fingers should rest lightly on the home keys.
Each finger remains in this position unless it is reaching to tap another key.
3. What ergonomic factors are important to keep in mind while typing?
Typing ergonomics studies how we type and the effect that various typing postures have on our bodies.
It aims to optimize how we type to avoid fatigue, injuries, and strains. In other words, it's all about finding
the most efficient and comfortable way to type. This can be particularly important for people who spend a
lot of time typing, such as office workers or students. Typing ergonomics focuses on proper equipment,
setups, and posture correction. This sounds simple, but it involves extensive ergonomic reviews and
scenario planning to eliminate all sources of muscle and joint strain in the office.
