It’s a different feeling when you are being introduced to the national
treasures of your beloved country. The Philippines is home to a number of mighty
artists that ever walked on earth. They signify that Filipinos are capable of making
wonderful creations. In every brush strokes of color on their canvasses are
representing every single one of their fellowmen that are created collectively to
produce a state-of-the-art masterpiece. In every word they write on their literary
pieces are a representation of the stories of millions of Filipinos. In every piece of
wood that are being carved out are pieces of sufferings and turmoil to produce a
sculpture of rich history. The patriotic sentiments on their art a reminder to
everyone that you’re a Filipino, be proud. Indeed, our national artists are heroes
in their own ways. They may not be the denotation of “heroes”, but heroes
nevertheless.
Their great expression of emotions, nationalism, and passion that are being
conveyed on their artistry are phenomenal. Several Filipino artists are even
internationally recognized simply because their talents and dedications on their
own arts are awe-inspiring. These flag-waving National Artists of ours will always
be a national pride, inspirations to the many, and one of the greatest treasures of
this country.
