Present Perfect Tense

S + have , has + V.3

Adverb ทีใ่ ช้กบั Tense นี้ ได้แก่ since, for, ever, never, already, yet, recently, lately, so far, up
to now, up to the present time, many times, several times, over and over, etc.
ใช้ยงั ไงอ่ะ :
1. ใช้กบั เหตุการณ์ทเ่ี กิดขึน้ ในอดีต แต่ผลของการกระทายังคงปรากฏให้เห็นอยู่ เช่น
I have tuned on the light.
My brother has broken the glass.
He has told his name, but I have forgotten it.
2. ใช้กบั เหตุการณ์ทเ่ี กิดขึน้ ในอดีต และเหตุการณ์นนั ้ ยังคงดาเนินเรื่อยมาจนถึงปั จจุบนั มักมีคาว่า
since หรือ for อยูใ่ นประโยคด้วย
 since แปลว่า ตัง้ แต่ จะใช้บอกจุดของเวลาทีเ่ หตุการณ์การณ์นนั ้ เริม่ เกิดขึน้ (a point of time in
the past) และมักจะตามด้วย วลี(phrase) หรือ ประโยคก็ได้ ถ้า since ตามด้วยประโยค รูปกริยา
ภายในประโยคทีต่ ามหลังมาจะเป็ น Past Simple Tense
Maria has waited for him since 8 o’clock.
Andrew hasn’t sent message to me since last month.
I have known her since I came to live here.
 for ใช้กบั ระยะเวลานับตัง้ แต่เกิดเหตุการณ์ จนถึงในขณะทีพ่ ดู (a period of time)
I have known her for five years.
We have studied Spanish for two years.
Dan has been ill for three days.
