1. What is Literature? Writing that employs aesthetic form and expression is referred to be
literature and is valued or deemed significant. Literature is a term used in the arts to describe
written works including poems, short stories, biographies, memoirs, and essays.
2. What are the importance of studying Literature? Students who study literature get an
understanding of the value of language and its impact. Through the texts they read, kids journey
to many eras and worlds. They are aware of both their own and other cultures. They get the
ability to identify with characters' joys and suffering.
7. What is the difference between fiction and nonfiction? Nonfiction refers to true stories
centered on real events and people, whereas fiction often refers to narrative, settings, and
characters developed from the author's imagination.
8. What are the elements of fiction? There are six essential components of fiction writing:
characters, place, story, conflict, point of view, and theme. Characters in a story can be
humans, animals, or aliens. Through what they say, what they believe, and how they behave,
readers get to know the characters.
