Background

Informant is an ex police officer who is running a grocery and Butchery Shop at

Joel Shopping center.
Circumstances

1. On 19 January 2023 at around 0600hours, informant was walking to open

his shop. After walking a distance of 80 - 100 meters from his home at Joel
location, he saw body of the now deceased lying on the road side. He drew
closer and discovered that the body was naked. He took small branches of
tree with leaves and used to cover the private parts. He phoned ZRP
Zhombe to inform of the incident.

2. Same day around 1000hours, a team of Detectives from CID Kwekwe,

Kwekwe Canine, and ZRP Zhombe attended to the scene and made the
following investigations. The body of the now deceased was lying on the
road side facing upwards with the head facing to the road and body was
naked.

3. There were clothes heaped by the body of the now deceased including,
Blood stained Checked long sleeve shirt, Black track bottom, Maroon pant,
Navy blue work suit bottom searched and found with three keys fastened
together, Red long sleeved-Shirt, about 23 meters away from the body and
at the side of the road was also a black flees Jacket inscribed Electro Sales
on the chest pocket, a black Jacket inscribed Classic at its back which was
searched and found from its pockets us5 note SN MD5625313 and us 1note
SN H75253996A and a school teacher assessment sheet with names written
behind it.

4. Members from ZRP Zhombe confirmed knowing names of written down

names as for the teachers at Rio Tinto Zhombe High school, Kwekwe.

5. Searches on the body of the now deceased were done and it was observed
a Sharp vertical cut on the face of the now deceased from the nose up to
the forehead, both eyes were missing, both ears were missing, nose was
missing, and the face was skinned with an unknown sharp object up to the
near back of the scull, there was a deep sharp cut on the lower Right leg
and bleeding was minimum on all wounds.
6. Efforts were made to identify body of the now deceased through Rio Tinto
Zhombe High school staff, Presley Chinyumbwe a male adult aged 30 NR
24-194365-X-86 a teacher at the school positively identified a set of the
keys as that of the now deceased. Shane Shoko a male adult aged 42 NR
58-203901-J-58 also a teacher at the School identified the body and clothes
as that of the now deceased. The deceased is the uncle to him.

7. A set of keys was taken to unlock the house and office which the now
deceased was using. Full details of the now deceased were supplied by The
headmaster of Rio Tinto Zhombe High School, Joel Kwashira a male adult
aged 52 NR 24-037941-W-26.

8. Body of the now deceased was ferried to Kwekwe General Hospital by ZRP
Zhombe Mahindra registration number ZRP 3446M. No arrest was made,
no murder weapons were recovered and matter is being investigated under
ZRP Zhombe RRB 5733477 refers.

WITH LEAVES AND USED TO COVER THE PRIVATE PARTS STOP HE
PHONED ZRP ZHOMBE TO INFORM OF THE INCIDENT STOP

REPORT TO THE POLICE STOP AT 1000HOURS CMM A TEAM OF
DETECTIVES FROM CID KWEKWE CMM KWEKWE CANINE CMM AND
ZRP ZHOMBE ATTENDED TO THE SCENE AND MADE THE
FOLLOWING INVESTIGATIONS STOP THE BODY OF THE NOW
DECEASED WAS LYING ON THE ROAD SIDE FACING UPWARDS
WITH THE HEAD FACING TO THE ROAD AND BODY WAS NAKED
STOP THERE WERE CLOTHES HEAPED BY THE BODY OF THE NOW
DECEASED INCLUDING CMM BLOOD STAINED CHECKED LONG
SLEEVE SHIRT CMM BLACK TRACK BOTTOM CMM MAROON PANT
CMM NAVY BLUE WORK SUIT BOTTOM SEARCHED AND FOUND
WITH THREE KEYS FASTENED TOGETHER CMM RED LONG
SLEEVED-SHIRT CMM ABOUT 23 METERS AWAY FROM THE BODY
AND AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WAS ALSO A BLACK FLEES JACKET
INSCRIBED ELECTRO SALES ON THE CHEST POCKET CMM A BLACK
JACKET INSCRIBED CLASSIC AT ITS BACK WHICH WAS SEARCHED
AND FOUND FROM ITS POCKETS US$5 NOTE SN MD5625313 AND
US$1 NOTE SN H75253996A AND A SCHOOL TEACHER ASSESSMENT

THAT OF THE NOW DECEASED STOP THE DECEASED IS THE UNCLE
TO HIM STOP A SET OF KEYS WAS TAKEN TO UNLOCK THE HOUSE
AND OFFICE WHICH THE NOW DECEASED WAS USING STOP FULL
DETAILS OF THE NOW DECEASED WERE SUPPLIED BY THE
HEADMASTER OF RIO TINTO ZHOMBE HIGH SCHOOL CMM JOEL
KWASHIRA A MALE ADULT AGED 52 NR 24-037941-W-26 STOP
BODY OF THE NOW DECEASED WAS FERRIED TO KWEKWE
GENERAL HOSPITAL BY ZRP ZHOMBE MAHINDRA REGISTRATION
NUMBER ZRP 3446M STOP NO ARREST WAS MADE CMM NO
MURDER WEAPONS WERE RECOVERED AND MATTER IS BEING
