I don’t watch TV on the weekends.

vocabulary practiced to communicate what
activities you don’t do during the week.

● Present simple (negative form)

● The written part must have at least 100
words.
● Use the present simple in negative form for
your answers.
● Be careful with the use of capital letters and punctuation marks.

Activity:

1. Send an email to your friend Sally from the United States about the
activities you don’t do during the week. Pay attention to Sally’s short email:

Dear friend,
How are you? I tell you, on my week I don’t make my best. My mom is usually angry
because I don’t organize my bedroom, but I don’t like it. I like my bedroom in the way it is.
I don’t wash the dishes because my mom is in the kitchen. I usually do my homework
when she is in the kitchen.
What about you?

Dear Sally,
Let me tell you about my week, I don’t rest a lot because I work a lot, I don’t wash my
clothes because my mom does it for me. I sometimes don’t eat at home because I’m at my
girlfriend’s house mostly. I don’t play with my dog because I’m always busy, I don’t have
much time for my studies during the week because I’m at work but I do it during the
weekends, sometimes I work from my girlfriend’s house but I don’t play her cat because it
makes me allergic and dizzy. Finally, I usually don’t have breakfast because I never got
used to it. I hope to hear back from you soon.
