Exit tickets
Exit tickets are a great way to quickly assess learning for a specific
lesson. Our exit tickets provide pupils with an opportunity to
demonstrate their understanding of a concept through both fluency and
reasoning and problem solving based questions.
When used at the end of the lesson, pupils could be given a copy of the
exit ticket to complete independently. This will help the teacher to
understand the depth of knowledge for individual pupils. They could
also use this time to self assess their understanding of the learning
objective.
When used at the start of the lesson to recap the previous lesson,
pupils could be given a copy of the exit ticket to complete
independently or in pairs. This will allow the teacher to address any
common misconceptions or errors that may have occurred in the
previous lesson.
