answer sheet.

4. Submission in the form of Microsoft word in Course Networking. Please also send the hard
copy to me for documentation purposes.

5. Save your file with group number. Example: G1

6. Date of Submission: 9th November 2023 (Thursday)


7. For late submission:
ONE (1) day, 20% will be deducted from your total assignment marks.
TWO (2) days, 30% will be deducted from your total assignment marks.
THREE (3) days, 40% will be deducted from your total assignment marks.

8. Any submission after the three days mentioned above will not be accepted. This assignment will
contribute 10% towards your final grade.

A boat is pulled toward a dock by a rope from the bow through a ring on the dock 6ft about
the bow. The rope is hauled in at the rate of 2ft/s.

How fast is the boat approaching the dock when 10ft of rope are out? (5 marks)
