THANKSGIVING DAY 2022

Good morning everyone! Ang mga nasa labas po ay inaanyayahan na pumasok na, for we are
about to start in just a second.

INTRODUCTION

I’d like to ask our dear brothers and sisters in Christ to please settle down because we are
about to start our Thanksgiving Day Program. But before that, can we ask everyone to find a
seat and make yourselves comfortable for the rest of the day.

You know what, by just looking in ourselves today, kitang kita na we want to look more
presentable as we celebrate this once a year celebration. We really want to thank God for His

Nagpapasalamat ba tayo
sa sitwasyon natin ngayon? Nagpapasalamat ba tayo sa ating kaligtasan, pagkakaibigan, at
trabaho?

Gratitude is essential to our life. Because it changes you, your outlook, and your attitude. It is
the key to turning your situation around. A grateful heart has strength.

Good morning Church! I am your meek host for today’s event.

OPENING PRAYER

As we start our celebration, please rise as we bid a single moment to God and offer this
prayer of thanksgiving as the selected youth of God offer an Opening Salvo followed by an
opening prayer to be led by Bro. Aramis F. Galario.

WELCOME ADDRESS

Today is our Thanksgiving Day. There’s a lot of things to be grateful to God. There’re
a thousand reasons to celebrate. But above all, there is this One God worthy to be
praised and honored.

Good morning, Madlang Kristiyano!

Open your lips and say “Halleluiah.”

Extend your arms to God and say ‘Thank You, Lord!”.

1 Thessalonians 5:8 says, “In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in
Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Parallel with this, Abraham Lincoln proclaimed, “ No human counsel hath devised, nor
hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the
Most High God, who while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless
remembered mercy.

pasasalamat, may I call in Bro. Ronnie G. Francisco for his Welcome Address.

OPENING REMARKS

Thank you, Brother for that hospitable and congenial words of welcome.

Today is a day of great celebration.
Panginoon. Nasa puso nila ang masidhing hangaring pasalamatan ang Diyos. This is in
accordance to Psalms 100:4 which says, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts
with praise.”

Moreover, it also declares, “Glory in His holy Name, let the hearts of those who seek the
Lord rejoice.”

To kick-off this big festivity, may I call in Brother Nick Maquinto to deliver his opening
remarks.

Thank you, Brother for that substantial message.

INTERMISSION NUMBER

God is so generous and full of grace. Because of his kindness, we have received heavenly
gifts including our talents. These talents are expected to be treasured and anticipated to be
used for God’s glory.

Romans 12:6 discloses that, “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of
us.”

At this juncture, the selected youths will offer an intermission number to God. Let us give
them a big hand.

Thank you for that spectacular number. Continue doing what you are doing in the Name of
Lord.
TESTIMONY

Ayon kay Ann Voskamp, a Canadian blogger and memoirist, “Nagpapasalamat tayo sa Diyos

Laila Gifty Akita once said, “My heart is overflowing with great thankfulness to the Lord.”

This morning, let us hear God’s goodness through the lives of our Brethren as they testify His
never-ending faithfulness. May I call in Sister Jocelyn R. Buhawe, followed by Sister Susan
E. Buhawe.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Thank you so much for standing to declare God’s goodness in your life. It is, therefore the
command of God written in 2 Timothy 1:8, “Be not ashamed of the testimony of our Lord”

As we continue our celebration, are you ready to dance for Jesus?

Psalm 66:4 says, “All the earth will worship You, and will sing praises to You;
They will sing praises to Your name.”

To bring us closer to God’s presence, please welcome our music team and praise and worship
leader, Sister Grace Fontamillas.

OFFERTORY/ SPECIAL NUMBER

Are you blessed? To bless us even more, the God is inviting us to give unto Him.

Deuteronomy 16:17 says, “Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the LORD
your God has blessed you.”

At this point, may I call in Sister Editha R. Maquinto to deliver some messages about offering
and tithing. This will be followed by a song number to be rendered by Brother Ruel R.
Maquinto.

CHORUS

As written in Ephesians 5:19-20, “Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always
giving thanks to God the Father.”

INTRO. OF THE GUEST SPEAKER/ SOLO

Now, we have come to the most awaited part of our program. Let us feed our spirit with the
word of God.

God’s Word is the food for our recreated human spirit, and for us to be strong and vibrant in
our spirit, we need to feed on the Word. No wonder the Lord Jesus said man shouldn’t live by
bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God as stated in Matthew 4:4

In the same way we feed our physical body with foods rich in carbohydrates, proteins,
vitamins, minerals, fats and oil, we have to give our spirit the necessary nourishment it
requires – God’s.

Hear the Word of God from Romans 10:17, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing
through the word of Christ.”

At this point in time, may I request Sister Renia O. Capillo for the introduction of the quest
speaker followed by a song number to be rendered by ____________________________.

MESSAGE

Note: After Message Read This

1 Thessalonians 2:13 says, “And we also thank God continually because, when you received
the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it
actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.”

So, keep these messages of God, live out these teachings and spread the gospel.

THANKSGIVING OFFERING

At this interval, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker as we bring our thanksgiving
offerings. Psalm 86:12 states, “I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, all my heart, and
will glorify Your name forever.”
