Elf Hat Napkin Fold
Whether you go with a green, red or blue
napkin, you can recreate this funny elf
hat napkin in less than one minute. Start
by folding your napkin in half, then roll
it. Fold up the bottom to form the brim of
the hat, and you're finished!

Furoshiki Table Gift Fold

Impress your guests by recreating this
Japanese wrapping technique. Rotate a cloth
napkin diagonally, and place a small
rectangular gift in the center. Fold the top and
bottom corners snuggly around the gift.
Gather the excess fabric and tie two knots.
Dress up the present with a sprig of greenery,
candy cane or personalized card.

Candy Cane Bow Napkin Fold

If you're looking for a simple and stylish
place setting idea, fold a red and white
striped napkin into a neat bow. Tie a red
ribbon in the center to secure it.
Leaf Napkin Fold
Turn an average paper napkin (we
suggest a shade of red or orange) into
beautiful fall foliage. Start by folding
your napkin in half, then accordion fold
the entire thing. Connect the two longest
points while pinching the connected
center together, and you'll soon reveal
the leaf shape.

Flower Napkin Fold

Think outside the vase with this special
twist. Take a cloth napkin in the color of
your choice, and fold it into a square.
Then, flip it over and fold in the corners.
Finally, pull out the bottom edges and
you've got yourself a lovely flower.

Rose Napkin Fold

Give your table just a touch of romance
with a lovely rose that's sure to wow.
For this look, take a red washable
serviette and fashion it into a long, thin
roll. Next, hold the left corner down to
make a right angle. Then, start twisting
the cloth into a rose. Finally, flip it over
and tuck the loose ends into place.
Atrium Lily Napkin Fold
Take your party to the next level with
this deceptively easy technique. You'll
definitely want to use square cloth
napkins so the shape holds better. To
construct the atrium, create three layers
by folding the points you've made into
one another. It's so much easier than it
looks!

Crown Napkin Fold

The crown design is a classic that should
be done at least once during the
holidays. A classic red napkin will work
wonders. Once you're done folding the
cloth, curl the left and right sides so they
meet in the middle and tuck one into the
other. Then, you'll fold down the sides to
reveal the realest crown.

French Pleat Napkin

Uniquely folded
like little pockets for the spoon, fork and knife.
Candle Napkin Fold
When it comes to folds like The Candle fold
it may look pretty simple of the face of
things but there is a lot of napkins folding
technique goes in to making it stand
vertically. This fold can also benefit from
the use of starch if your napkins are a little
limp.

Standing Fan Napkin Fold

A standing fan napkin is a great way to
dress up cloth napkins for practically any
occasion. The fan napkin fold works
particularly well with starched cotton or
linen napkins. The nice thing about a fan
napkin, whether you are doing a standing
fan fold or accordion folds on a plate, is
that it is quite easy to manage.

Bishop’s hat Napkin Fold

The Bishop’s Hat napkin fold is a very
classic fold used in many restaurants.
This fold looks very much like the hat a
bishop would wear at church (hence the
name) and has just as much appeal
whether it is placed lying down or
standing up on your place settings.
Lotus Napkin Fold
Also called the water lily or the artichoke,
the lotus is one of the best-known napkin
folds—and should be familiar to anyone
who ever made a paper fortune teller as a
child. Use it to present dinner napkins or
to surround a roll, a party favor, or a
flower. For a pop of color, use pale-pink
napkins; these are often used for special
occasions instead of the traditional white
or cream.

Sailing Boat Napkin Fold

This is one of the simplest standing
napkin designs there are, but you will
still need a stiff napkin if you expect it
to stand without flopping over.

Pyramid Napkin Fold

The Pyramid is widely used in
restaurants because the napkins can
be folded in advance (frame 8),
squeezed flat, and stored folded side-
by-side standing on the long edges.
Then, to set a table, the napkins can be
quickly opened up and positioned
around the table.
