MISSION, GOALS & PRINCIPLES

The following document describes our why. We have broken it into two parts:
Mission and long-term Goals, and principles. It should provide context and
guidance to Credix's leadership and team.

Part I: MISSION & GOALS

Our founding documents detail the plans for Credix, including our long-term
objectives, principles, and philosophy: why and how we exist and operate.

Credix's mission is to grow businesses in Latin America through embedded


finance. Credix provides embedded credit infrastructure to platforms and
supplies capital for businesses facing institutional financing barriers.

Examples:

- Credix supplies capital and credit infrastructure to Clave in Colombia,


allowing them to finance Colombia's agriculture industry
- Credix supplies credit infrastructure to Arado, providing them and their
customers with working capital through BNPL. This generates revenue,
builds loyalty, and creates customer retention

Beyond our mission, we set long-term goals that represent the bigger-picture
ambitions we hope to achieve or improve over a period of years. They are our
reason for existence and represent Credix's long-term ambition.

1. Advance the state of the art in building credit infrastructure.

Credix employs cutting-edge technologies to revolutionize the credit and


working capital infrastructure. Our approach involves harnessing the potential
of the latest advancements, including decentralized technologies like
blockchain, to strengthen our debt stack and enhance efficiency through smart
contracts, eliminating intermediaries.

We're crafting state-of-the-art underwriting capabilities using AI techniques


and alternative data sets to mitigate risks. We aim to develop a vertically
integrated technological framework that seamlessly scales and integrates
entirely with our platform partners. This infrastructure ensures future
scalability while reinforcing our commitment to innovation.
2. To enable and grow B2B internet-enabled commerce.

Enabling B2B merchants to thrive online necessitates the provision of flexible


financing options, payment adaptability, and accessible working capital. Given
that 80% of B2B commerce relies on credit, bridging the gap in Brazil's market
is critical, where only 1% of the $500 billion B2B industry is online compared
to 14% in the United States.

Offering credit stands out as the most valuable service for SMBs, yet it
remains one of the most challenging to manage internally. Our solution
involves providing a fully integrated credit infrastructure encompassing risk
assessment, compliance, capital allocation, and collections, all through
user-friendly no-code and low-code (API) solutions.

By deploying this comprehensive credit framework, we empower our platform


partners to attract new buyers with swift and straightforward access to
credit. This approach ensures speed and simplicity and fosters buyer loyalty,
increasing Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) and revenue growth by elevating
Average Order Value (AOV) and expanding market share.

3. Accelerate globalization and GDP growth in Brazil

Credix is committed to the Brazilian market, focusing on empowering small and


medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In Brazil, over 45% of SMEs face challenges
in accessing credit, leading to exorbitant interest rates on credit cards
reaching an alarming 790%. These businesses contribute up to 30% of the
country's GDP.

Our mission revolves around enhancing access to capital and constructing a


robust digital infrastructure. By doing so, we aim to create substantial
advantages for SMBs in Brazil. This initiative supports the growth of these
businesses and holds the potential to bolster the country's overall economy.
Part II: PRINCIPLES

At Credix, we have defined a set of principles as a shared system of beliefs


and behaviors, often called “values.” These principles embody the identity of
our company. Our principles represent a delicate balance between aspiration
and an honest description of our culture today.

Build with Velocity: A bias for action speeds up our learning and creates
momentum. Focus on what matters most, make fast initial progress, and iterate
towards the best outcome. Break down objectives, eliminate waste, and focus on
output. We are moving quickly, changing regularly, and aren’t very
prescriptive about most things. We expect autonomy and consistency.

Be Bold and seek excellence: Credix’ are high achievers and builders with a
drive to succeed. We manifest strong self-confidence, taking calculated risks,
and thinking outside the box. We take end-to-end accountability for seeing our
work through and delivering on our commitments—excellence in service to our
customers, our craft, respective disciplines, and each other.

Olympian Mindset: We work harder, longer, and smarter – not just two out of
three. Working at Credix will mean some late nights, some weekends, and paying
attention to email even during off-hours.

Wise Judgement and Communication: Be decisive. Making decisions is moving in a


direction, creating velocity. Focus on long-term impact by solving systemic
issues and not minor problems. Focus on A+ problems, the most challenging
problem that will change the company. B+ problems are the second and third
most important problem, the easy route out. Do so by sharing information
broadly and deliberately.

The Credix team is a diverse set of passionate, curious, and resilient


individuals. We challenge ourselves to think with a beginner’s mind and show
genuine interest in people, ideas, and the unknown. We are not wedded to how
we currently do things. Credix can be a tumultuous place, and the audacity of
our goal-setting will mean the occasional failure. We view these setbacks as
opportunities to sharpen our skills and learn.
