Essay On Increase In Population

Crafting an essay on the subject of population growth presents a multifaceted challenge, demanding
a delicate balance between statistical analysis, sociological insights, and environmental
considerations. The intricacies of this topic lie in navigating the vast array of factors influencing
population dynamics, ranging from economic conditions and technological advancements to cultural
practices and governmental policies.

Firstly, one must grapple with the sheer volume of information available. The statistical landscape
surrounding population growth is vast and continually evolving. Accurate representation of
demographic data requires sifting through numerous sources, understanding the methodologies
employed in data collection, and discerning trends from outliers. This process demands a keen eye
for detail and a comprehensive understanding of statistical analysis.

On the sociological front, addressing the implications of a burgeoning population involves delving
into complex societal structures. Factors such as urbanization, education, healthcare, and socio-
economic disparities play pivotal roles in shaping population dynamics. Integrating these elements
into a cohesive narrative requires a nuanced understanding of sociological theories and the ability to
articulate the interconnectedness of various societal facets.

Furthermore, tackling the environmental aspect of population growth necessitates an awareness of

ecological principles and the broader implications of overpopulation. Balancing concerns about
resource depletion, environmental degradation, and the impact on biodiversity adds an additional
layer of complexity to the essay. It demands not only a grasp of scientific concepts but also the
ability to communicate these complexities in a way that resonates with a diverse audience.

In terms of structuring the essay, the challenge lies in creating a coherent narrative that seamlessly
weaves together these diverse threads. Transitioning between statistical analysis, sociological
insights, and environmental considerations requires finesse to avoid disjointedness and maintain the
reader's engagement. Crafting a compelling introduction and a thought-provoking conclusion further
adds to the complexity, requiring the ability to frame the topic in a way that captivates the audience
from start to finish.

In conclusion, writing an essay on the increase in population is a formidable task that demands a
multifaceted skill set. Navigating through statistical intricacies, sociological nuances, and
environmental concerns requires not only extensive research but also a mastery of various disciplines.
It's an exercise in synthesizing information, constructing a coherent narrative, and presenting
complex ideas in a digestible format. Those seeking assistance with such essays may find valuable

Epicurus, Letter to Menoeceus, p. 49 50.
What argument does he provide for why we should not fear death? What is the ethical
purpose of this argument for how we should live our lives? Do you agree with Epicurus s
views? Why or why not?

Epicurus was a hedonist, a materialist and a consequentialist who strongly believed that
in order to attain the good life one must live a pleasant existence free of worry and pain.

In order to live the good life, one must eliminate all pain and live a life with maximum
pleasure. Unlike other hedonist philosophers, Epicurus evaluated pleasures by their
duration rather than their intensity, making psychological pleasures much more desirable
to physical pleasures. Epicurus, as a consequentialist thought that in order to achieve the
good life, one had to logically assess future consequences of human actions through
rational reflection and evaluation. If one were to rationally reflect on death they would
soon realise that there was nothing but oblivion after death (de Botton 2000, p. 59).
The Leading Doctrines of Epicurean philosophy state that it is impossible to live the
pleasant life without also living sensibly, nobly and justly, and conversely it is
impossible to live sensibly, nobly and justly without living pleasantly (Epicurus, 1998b,
p.53). Therefore, the good Epicurean believes in order to live virtuously, one must
adhere to a pleasurable life. For Epicureans it is impossible to live virtuously and
unpleasantly or vice versa. In addition, Epicurus describes pleasure as our primary
native good (Epicurus 1998a, p. 51), implying that all human actions are driven by
pleasures and by the avoidance of pains. Another imperative concept to Epicurean
philosophy is Epicurus idea of the three fundamental aspects in attaining pleasure, those
of friendship, freedom and an analysed life
Roppongi Hills Essay
Roppongi Hills in Tokyo is often mentioned as one of the largest and most successful
city renewal projects that have ever been made after World WarⅡin Japan. The project
started in 1984 and took about 17 years to complete. The plan involved the city
government, the land developer Mori Building Co., and the residents living in the
construction area. Just to reach agreements with 500 right holders, the company had
spent over 15 years ( Roppongi Hills. ). The concept of the renewal plan seems totally
opposite from that of Jane Jacobs, but there is a point in the history of this Roppongi
renewal plan that is equivalent to her philosophy. Jane Jacobs idea regarding a local
community in the city was accidentally realized in the process of... Show more content on

The site provides almost everything that a person needs for living and working in Tokyo.
The most distinct feature of Roppongi Hills, however, is not their immense and luxurious
looks, but the enormously long and complicated process to compete the project which
may be unimaginable for Jane Jacobs. In 1986, TV Asahi Co., which owned the main
part of the location, decided to make a new headquarters building there and consulted the
Minato Ward Office and Mori Building Co. The Ward suggested that they should also
redevelop the surrounding area since it was packed with wooden houses, small
apartments, and condominiums with narrow streets which made it difficult for fire
engines to come into the area in an emergency. After the district was officially designated
as a redevelopment inducement area by Tokyo Metropolitan Government in the same
year, Mori Building started to negotiate with the residents there. According to Mori
Building, their first contact with the residents was totally unwelcoming. Most of the
residents did not listen to them at all, but after their repeated visits at each resident s
house at least once in two weeks, many of them had gradually opened their hearts and
listened to what the developer said. The company explained to them that the plan was not
a buyout. It s the joint reconstruction of their houses and apartments. The company

The Unreliable Narrator Of Montresor
As I read this story, there are many things to pick out about the narrator, Montresor. We
learn that this is his name finally at the end of the story when Fortunato says, For the
love of God, Montresor! From reading the story I could infer a few things about
Montresor. First, that he is a wealthy man with his servants that he has and a large
palazzo. As I noticed in the story that there are quite a few Latin and French words
used by Montresor, which could state that he is a very smart man. As Montresor talks
about his family in the story and speaks very highly of them, one could infer that he and
his family is very popular. As the story unfolds and I read on I could really see that
Montresor is an unreliable narrator. As he states right
How to Choose a Career Essay
Many pastors often will have the little children of the church ushered to the front to
speak with them briefly. In a playful manner he asks them, what are they going to be
when they grow up? It is amazing how the majority of them say with such confidence
what they will be someday. And in the congregation sits me, a returning college
student who decided to do a three sixty and pursue a different career. One of the major
factors in a career is that it will give an individual flexible time with family and friends.
The salary often is the deciding factor for some in choosing a career; in fact, the careers
of my choice all had great pay in salary. In narrowing down the best choice it ultimately
came down to which career has continuous growth... Show more content on

Although, the majority of the responsibility of a case is in the paralegal hands;
however, it is the attorney expertise in a particular matter that structure a case.
Individuals as paralegals have the opportunity to participate in the legal field rather
then becoming a lawyer to further their passion. The amount of time a paralegal
spends researching for a case may overshadow personal responsibilities depending on
the need of the client and lawyer. Because of this, a paralegal may have to work for a
private attorney to be more adjustable to a personal situation that might occur. Second, a
career in journalism can be industrious for an individual. In the article Journalism:
Toward an Accountable Profession, Richard P. Cunningham states, The public cannot
know on the basis of the news report itself whether the report is reliable (15).
Journalism would be a career where the source(s) have to be credible. For example, a
career in journalism an individual writes, edit, publish, or report news all the time.
Journalist have to make sure the accounts of events are accurate although sometimes
biases in journalism can occur. The variety of topics journalist cover can includes politics,

journalist have to be their first hand as the story unfolds. Journalist may have to travel

Mom Classification
Mothers can be classified into multiple categories.Stay at home mom, work mom,
dadmom, and some other other non flattering categories. My mother falls into the hero
category. She helps me try new things. She helps me through the pain that the cosmos
have plagued me with. Finally we have a special bond that will be very hard to break.
Many mothers want their children to try new things, my motherwas no exception. She
had me try a range of things like soccer and basketball,of which I got hit in the face a
quite a bit and now have a phobia of basketballs, to poetry and theater. I finally stuck with
theater and have to thank her for that. Many of the things I did just to say I did them,
which usually ended up with me getting hurt.
My mother also helped me with my pain, and I had a LOT of pain. When I was
younger I had horrible stomach pains to a point I would curl up into a ball and lay on
the couch shaking for hours, I think I went to the emergency room once when that
happened. After 8 years of blood tests, an MRI, and 3 endoscopies the doctors finally
found out what was wrong. I have an egg allergy, am lactose intolerant, have celiac
disease and have developed anxiety through the years of pain. The whole time my mom
was comforting me and still does when I have my occasional panic attack, but during that
time we had developed a bond. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Human Resource Development Partner And Training
Manager
As the human resource development partner and training manager, I was contacted by
JetBlue to develop a detailed lesson plan for their newest addition to their family. JetBlue
recently hired thirty new reservation agents to help with their growing business. A lesson
plan is a detailed plan of action to guide the trainer throughout the process that intends to
take the trainee from step A to Z. This plan must be developed in advanced so that the
trainer is prepared for the information that must be taught including: the content to be
taught; how much time is required for each lesson; what method will be used to teach the
information; what type of training materials are needed; the location of the training; and
how the training will be evaluated (Werner DeSimone, 2012). Before the lesson plan can
be developed, information is needed related to the organizational history of JetBlue along
with the job responsibilities for the reservation agents. JetBlue Airlines, the fifth largest in
the United States, houses their main headquarters in Long Island, NY with corporate
offices residing in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. JetBlue was founded by David Neeleman
in 1998, and currently uses Sabrereservation systems to book flights to ninety seven
destinations in the US, Central America, Mexico, Caribbean, and South America
(Snyder, 2010). JetBlue inspiration starts here (Flying on JetBlue, n.d.) is their motto,
and it reflects their mission statement of Inspiring humanity a single action
