Rubrics:
2. How was literature used to highlight the characteristics and experiences of the
different people involved with/affected by the Marcos regime? Cite some
examples. (3 points)
- Literature was used to express and show the experiences of the different
people involved during the Marcos regime. There are many people who are
brave enough to speak up about their experiences with people who are willing
to be their voice. Some examples of literature made during the time are “Days
of Disquiet and Nights of Rage” by Jose F. Lacaba, which is one of the best
places to start reading about martial law due to it, including the reason why it
started and where the person who did this had the courage, and the famous
Dekada ’70 by Chito S. Roño, which shows the life of the people during the
dictatorship of Ferdinard Marcos.
