ABNORMAL PROCEDURES

• FLY - Make sure the AP is on! The speed, altitude


and flight path are safe.
• NAVIGATE - Insert a HOLD into a waypoint in the
flight plan or load a HOLD at present position and
KNOW where you are.
• COMMUNICATE - Declare ‘’PAN PAN’’ or
‘’MAYDAY’’ and ask for hold, heading, altitude and
whatever fits you in the situation.
• CAS MSG - Read it out loud and understand what
is happen.
• Do the Memory itens and go to the QRH.
• Abnormal procedures have priority over the normal
checklist.
• Landing distance calculation if it is necessary.
• Situation assessment (With all information its easier
to make decisions)
• Decision Making!

• During the reading the landing gear


may starts to descend due to lack
of hydraulic pressure
• MSG LG LEVER DISAG (The
message will appear because the
gear has dropped and the lever is
still in up position)
• It’s possible to have CAS MSG -
Brake Fail also
• Before landing we turn the pump
ON in case there is any remnant of
pressure to have normal brakes
• Important to read the entire
checklist before get ready for the
approach

EMERGENCY EVACUATION

• A Emergency Evacuation can be classified


as planned or unplanned.

• A Planned Evacuation allows the crew to


revise the procedures, prepare the
passengers and coordinate actions with
ATC.

• An Unplanned Evacuation occurs


suddenly with almost no time for briefing.

• It’s important to do the memory itens in


order.

• It’s crucial to declare MAYDAY on ground


to get the attention of everyone involved
with operation.
