Introduction
In this project we will be defining the terms Barter and
Mobile Wallet . We will also explain the use of these and
show visual representations of these .
What is Barter
Barter is the exchange of goods and services for other
goods and service. This is done without the use of money
but with the things you already own. In order for barter to
work, the goods or service that you’re trading has to be
something that the other person wants.
What is Mobile Wallet
A mobile wallet is a digital wallet that enables users to make
payments directly from their cellphone. Users send a code to
their provider, which is validated, allowing them to store and
manage their payment information on their smartphone,
making it a convenient alternative to physical cash or cards.
The Use Of Barter
Barter is an ancient practice where people exchange goods or services without using
money. It was commonly used before the invention of currency. It's like swapping things
you have for things you want or need. It can be a creative way to meet needs and build
relationships within a community. People still use barter today in certain situations, like
on online platforms or in specific communities. It's a cool practice that adds a unique twist
to traditional transactions!
!An example of bartering. Let's say you have a bike that you no longer use, but you really
want a skateboard. You find someone who has a skateboard but wants a bike. You both
agree to trade your bike for their skateboard. That's bartering in action!
The Use Of Mobile Wallet
Mobile wallets are a convenient way to store payment information on your phone for
quick and secure transactions. You can add your credit or debit card details to the
mobile wallet app, and then use it to make purchases in stores or online. It's like
having your wallet on your phone! Mobile wallets, like Apple Pay, PayPal or Google
Pay, allow you to make contactless payments using your smartphone. You can simply
tap your phone on a payment terminal to complete a transaction. Plus, you can also
store loyalty cards, boarding passes, and tickets in your mobile wallet for easy access.
It's a convenient and secure way to handle your payments on the go!
